    Description

Our property is on the shore of the Waimea Inlet near Māpua. The estuary is home to many wading birds and much of our work is revegetating the estuary margin and a small regenerating coastal forest. Our project is to increase numbers of endangered wading birds by restoring their natural habitat and trapping predators. There is also lots to do in our orchard and vegetable garden.
