Description
🌟 *Warm Welcomes & Exciting Times Ahead at Our Community Haven!* 🌟
Tucked away just 30 minutes from Vienna, our vibrant household is a kaleidoscope of life, featuring four humans, three mischievous cats, an adorable puppy named Snips (she's been with us since November 2023), a dynamic flock of chickens, and the newest, most precious addition—our babies, joyfully welcomed into the world this February. 🐱🐶🐔👶
Our home is a sanctuary at the edge of the suburbs, where we live passionately, embracing an alternative lifestyle geared towards sustainability and autonomy. With an abundance of projects and a kitchen always buzzing with more culinary delights than we can enjoy, we've opened our doors to those who wish to share in our journey. 🍲🌿
In the past, our community has thrived with the help of short-term Workaway guests, who have immersed themselves in various projects that resonate with their hearts. However, as we embrace the joyful complexities of parenting, our focus shifts towards more specific needs. We're now seeking companions for longer stays—from 2 weeks to 1 month—who can lend their support during this transformative phase. 🌻💧🔨
👶Beyond the day-to-day assistance with meals, cleaning, and caring for our lively brood, we're excited to extend a handful of special projects for those eager to make a lasting impact:
🌼 Gardening Galore: Dive into our garden's embrace! With aspirations of biodiversity and vibrancy, your green thumb can guide us to new flourishing heights. 🌻👩🌾
🐟 Aquaponic Upgrade: Our aquaponic system yearns for enhancement. Your knowledge or passion in aquaponics will be a boon to our sustainable ecosystem, merging the beauty of aquatic life with verdant greenery. 🌱💧
🐣 Raising Baby Chickens: Join the enchanting world of poultry care as we embark on raising baby chickens. Your experience will enrich our chicken-raising adventure, bringing joy and learning in every peep. 🐥
🚧 Fence Building: With Snips nearing her curious phase, a secure, dog-proof fence is essential to keep her from adventurous escapades. If you're skilled with tools, your hands can help protect and define our sanctuary. 🐕🔨
🌿 Permaculture Dreams: Embrace permaculture with us as we dream of a self-sustaining garden ecosystem. Your enthusiasm and expertise in permaculture will sow the seeds for a greener tomorrow. 🍃🔄
Your contribution, be it through your expertise, energy, or empathy, will be invaluable as we navigate this beautiful new chapter. Together, let's cultivate a world where sustainability, community, and love flourish. 🌍❤️
📞 Feel a pull towards any of these projects? Reach out! We're excited to welcome like-minded souls ready to sprinkle their magic into our lives and the earth beneath our feet. Let's create something beautiful, sustainable, and full of joy together! 💌🌿Types of help and learning opportunities
