Description
Hy folks
Our little farm collective is an eco-community 1h from Vienna at the foot of the alps.
Not only do we grow our own veggies and fruits, we also grow trust, community, and a society without racism, sexism and capitalism.
4 years ago we found this beautiful place and since than we fill it with life, love and lots of work ;)
We are 5 adults and little Lora living collectivly in an old beautiful farmhouse with an 3500m2 garden full of old and young fruit trees.
In addition to the mainhouse we have a tiny house on wheels, a yurt, a camper van, two compost toilets, an outdoor shower and a fire heated hot tub :)
It´s an open place, so friends and travelers come by, we have parties and events here every now and then.
We love to cook and eat together, playing board games or make music at the campfire.

Our main focus at the moment is finishing up our wood-clay house.
Normally we work all together on building days, where we invite friends and you to join us in the building our house! We smash clay together, use lots of different power tools, carry wood around and inbetween drink coffee and enjoy the sun. You can learn here a lot about how to build your own house out of eco and recycled materials. Its not just DIY, its DIT (Do It Together).
Otherwise, we have our beautigul garden, where we grow veggies and fruits. And this year we are renting land for the first time to grow more vegetables! We always need help with mowing the lawn, cutting hedges, watering etc. And of course caning and pickling and cooking our harvest!
We invite you to become part of our community for the time that you are here. Which also means that we appreciate if you can do your share of cooking and cleaning dishes after eating.

Our town, Würflach, is known for it's little gorge: Johannisbach Klamm. There is even a small crag there, which is perfect for summer climbing.
Nearby there are 3 amazing climbing and hiking spots:
- Hohe Wand
- Flatzer Wand
- Schneeberg (over 2000 meters)

I stayed in a super cozy van for one week, and did various of things.
There is no pressure to do anything, which I liked a lot, but you can always ask for work or how certain things work.
I learned how to use some powertools, I did… read more
