Our theatre company is a most unique theatre venue -- a 30 meter tall ship. We have been touring contemporary professional theatre for over 40 years. The company tours its innovative theatrical productions on to the deck of a Ship Theatre. NOT a cruise ship. The company has just returned from 8 years of touring Europe and the Balkans, now sailing and performing in eastern and southern USA. In 2016, the company has winter/spring & summer residency in south central Florida, USA.
In early 2017 the company will be creating a new show and working on the ship, casting the 2017 seasons crew of performers and theatre technicians & some tour coordination. During this time we are looking for people who can help with the fundraising, do book keeping, work on masks, props, costumes and help to assist the chef with the shopping, cooking for a crew of about 35 people. We are also looking for people that are keen gardeners (experience of permaculture a plus), and builders/carpenters/general project work that can assist with the eco village that we are sharing space with.
The meals will be prepared on the ship, either vegetarian, vegan or with meat. The people on board are all actively working on the new show that opens in St Petersburg on April 4. There is no possibility for workaway volunteers after April 10.
Be a part of this exciting and cooperative venture.

They will be a part of a unique theatre experience that involves young professional artists and performers working and living together in a southern US setting. The shows that the ship produces are original and thought provoking with a political or social message. Travelers will learn skills in living and working in a community of artists. In administration, lots to learn in alternative fundraising and product solicitation.
