    Description

Our theatre company is a most unique theatre venue -- a 30 meter tall ship. We have been touring contemporary professional theatre for over 40 years. The nomadic company tours its innovative theatrical productions on to the deck and in the rigging of a Ship Theatre that has been touring internationally: Canada, USA, Europe and the Mediterranean. NOT a cruise ship.

April-June 2018, the company will be working on: ship maintenance - repairs and upkeep of the vessel, both exterior and interior; in preparation for the 2018 Production of Nomadic Tempest that will take place on Canada's west coast. During this time we are looking for people who can help with the wood carpentry (Ship & Show), upcycling stage props & costuming, ship repair, engine work, cooking, fundraising, bookkeeping & community outreach.

    NO PETS PLEASE.

This is a great experience and a chance to live and work in an intense creative environment in a community of professional artists from North America and Europe.

We strive to foster a climate of purposeful inclusion of all people. We create a community, and we intentionally welcome all. We value the diversity of ethnic and cultural identity and background, nationality, sexual and affectional orientation, gender identity and its expression. We foster a climate of purposeful inclusion, an environment where all can feel safe, valued, cared for, and given an opportunity to form meaningful connections with each other.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

They will be a part of a unique experience that involves young people working and living together in a beautiful west coast environment. The shows that the ship produces are original and thought provoking with a political or social message. Travelers will learn skills in living and working in a community of artists. In administration, lots to learn in alternative fundraising and product solicitation.
