    Description

Hi folks! We are a multicultural family of 3 (soon 4 👶🏼!) : Sophie is English, David is French and little Ady is a mix of that plus Catalan. We also have a cat, Maya.
We just moved to an old house in Dordogne with a bit of land. There are a lot of things to do, from small house maintenance to gardening, cleaning, cooking... We can always use some help, and we learn as we go :))
It is a very quiet place, and if you are a nature lover like us, you will love it.
We are looking for people willing to stay for longer periods (ideally a month or more) as we like to take the time to build trust and meaningful connections!

The region has much to offer, and we are a 10-minute drive away from Bergerac - a small but vibrant town quite typical of a certain French lifestyle. There are also plenty of vineyards and medieval villages around.
You will spend your time doing tasks with us, socialising in English, French or Spanish, depending on what you want to practice, for a fully immersive linguistic experience. You will also have the opportunity to cook with us French food, English food or even Thai or Indian, which we love and cook all the time!

  • Help

    Help

You would basically be an extension of our family, giving a hand on what's needed at the moment of your stay : mowing the grass, planting flowers, painting a wall, picking fruits & veg, cleaning, cooking... You don't need any particular skill, but the handier the better ^^
Depending on how the relationship evolves, and based on mutual consent, we can propose to help with child care - but never alone with the kids

Our guest will have all the meals provided (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Of course, they can buy additional food but as we are vegetarian, we would like to avoid having meat & fish in the house :-)
