Description
Hi! I'm Marisa. I love to expand my horizons and open myself to different perspectives through traveling and experiencing other ways of life.
I yearn to be apart of a community, work with my hands, be surrounded by animals and nature, and wake up everyday with a sense of purpose and connection to my environment and those around me. This is when my heart feels the most full.

Outside of Workaway and traveling, I love to hike, rock climb, yoga, swim, enjoy live music, and spend time with my dog and friends.
My dream is to one day have a piece of land where I can home rescue animals and live self sustainably with those I love.

I'm hardworking and love to learn and gain new knowledge and abilities. I've grown up with animals my whole life including horses, rabbits, geckos, etc and am very comfortable with animal care. I have held many different service jobs meaning I know how to work with people and am able to take advice and feedback well! I love to learn new skills. If you are willing to teach me, I will meet you with the same energy and enthusiasm.

Marisa and Daniel were great to host. They were bright and cheerful and always appreciative of being here. Most importantly, my dog Houdi loved them and they were so good with him.
