Hi there, I am Sophia, and I love traveling!! I am from Virginia Beach, Virginia and currently a business management student in Richmond, VA and part time waitress! I enjoy adventures and being around others, a naturally outgoing person. I am very open-minded, able to embrace new experiences, and adjust to unfamiliar environments to navigate challenges and make the most of my volunteer work. I generally do not eat beef/pork but not a picky eater. :)
Some of the things I love to do include reading, gardening, outdoor activities( hiking/kayaking, etc.), playing the piano, and at home projects. My father is a property manager so I have helped him with many "hands-on" projects such as painting, insulation, cutting grass, cleaning, and home-improvements repairs. In addition, I have worked at multiple restaurants and have experience in the food industry. I like to keep a neat space and clean up to keep everything nice and tidy and can help with all organizational needs. Also, I am a team player and have no problem working alongside other volunteers, local organizations, or community members.
I'm planning on traveling this spring and summer of 2025! One of my favorite things about traveling is connecting with others while sharing different cultural backgrounds and experiences. I am committed to making a positive difference and I am dedicated to the goals and objectives of the project(s) I am given. I have been to France, Italy, Ireland, Russia, Germany, Belgium, Mexico, Puerto Rico, California, New York and most of the southern states of the US. :)
