Trees is a great worker and a good houseguest. She got a lot of things done in my yard where i really need help and she even improved a few things that i didnt mention. She is able to work quite efficiently and independently which was valuable as i am busy. She is a trustworthy and responsible person who i was happy to have in my house. Everything

Hogie has a well organised yard of vegetables, fruits and plants, and is super knowledgeable in all things gardening. I learnt a lot in the week I was there, helped with tree pruning, seed sowing, weeding, bed preparation, compost building, and even changed a trailer wheel.
Little mezzanine area in her studio was comfortable to sleep in.
Hogie is

I used the bike to visit the local town and Lake Martin, and kayaked on the Teche which runs through Breaux Bridge.

2 angels who are both knowledgeable in many areas of working and living. they are family to me and have been since the first moment we met. there are no adequate words for the way they enriched my life. all the broken things are now working too. much thanks Gordon and Kathrin!

Staying at Hoggy private paradise was a wonderful gift. We feeled at home from the first moment at "Pippi Longstocking's" porch. We had great conversations and feel part of her live. The task to do were clear and manageable. The nest to stay was realy nice and Cosy.
Hoggy we loved to be your g. s. 😉❤️

These 2 are angels, traveling around making the world a better place. Kathy did a lot of much need landscaping as well as great photos of items for me to sell. Scott shared his cabinet making skills helping me change out a bathroom vanity top and sink. They are not afraid of hard work and they are a lot of fun, appreciating the simple things in

We had an interesting and rewarding first Workaway experience. Hogie was generous with her gratitude, home, garden produce, music offerings and food. She has three cats who kept us entertained.

Hogie was a very caring and always made sure I had everything I needed. She has a lot of experience in the volunteer host dance and knows how to communicate directly and clearly. She knows everyone has something unique to contribute and found places where I could really help. Powerfully appreciative, she will always thank you for being you and how

She also knows Breaux Bridge very well and will guide you to the best crawfish, the best dancing and music, where to go swimming, or anything else you could want. All her friends will welcome you like an instant family.
The farm is more than a place to stay -- it's a way of life. Learning how Hogie runs her garden and business, creatively repurposes everything, relates to other people, and just looks at the world was a great experience. I'm glad I went! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Darius helped with hard outside work as well as cleaning and organizing my house. He really understood that I have a lot to do and provided much needed help. Even when the work was hard, he never gave up and applied himself to making sure it was well executed. I am enjoying the improvements he made from the landscaping to the cleverly thought out

He has a genuine desire to help, a good natured personality, great sense of humor, and is wise way beyond his years.
My friends enjoyed him and he's fun company. We went dancing several times and he is a good dancer which was the icing on the cake for me!
I am grateful for his stay here :)Help on non-profit urban farm and stay in historic building in North Little Rock, AR USA
