Description
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of animals? Would you want to help with the compassionate care of llamas or alpacas? We also currently are caring for 2 yearling mustangs. Our farm is a llama/alpaca sanctuary located northwest of San Antonio, Texas. A rustic cabin with electricity, air conditioning may be available. 30amp available for those with an RV or camper. Tent camping also available. Length of stay varies and depends on availability & projects.
Volunteers help with the compassionate care of animals and the maintenance of facilities and pastures. Our main focus is the care and rescue of llamas and alpacas and a safe, organized facility. Time for working is approximately 15 hours per week. Your own vehicle is needed for transportation. There are cats and dogs and free-range poultry here so your approved pet would need to be kept in a fenced area or on a leash.
The hill country of Texas has four seasons with different activities possible during each season. Hiking trails, river access, and state and local parks are within an hour of here.
No Smoking or chemical fragrances or perfumes at our facility.
No illegal substances or activities.
