    Description

We are a married couple, British and Zambian who recently moved from the city to a rural village after realising we preferred a much simpler, more fulfilling way of life. We have three dogs, 13 chickens & 30 goats. With the help of our new neighbours, we have built our farm house using mostly material from around the village. We shared our building story online and as a result, got a lot of requests from people wanting to come and visit us. So we built 4 rental cottages and have gotten so much support.

we are currently employing 5 people. Mwamba, Mary, Jenny, Timothy and Pumulo. Timothy and Pumulo tend to the garden and animals, while Mary and Jenny help with running the cottages. Mwamba is. our trainee manager. Her role (with the help of Mary & Jenny) includes, welcoming guests, taking them on hikes, picnics and housekeeping.

We would love to have someone help to train our staff in hospitality and content creation for our social media. We are also looking for someone to help us train them how to grow and nurture our garden. (food & flowers). additionally, we have quite a few DIY projects at the moment, building, carpentry, etc.

Our cottages are 100% self-catering so you would not be required to serve food and drinks to guests.

We are a team that are close and love music, dancing and cooking. often times, all three done at the sam time.if you would likw to spend time with us, give us a shout!

As a member of our team, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of rural Zambian life while providing exceptional experiences to our guests. We live in a close-knit community village and are always learning from the community ourselves. The village is made up of mostly subsistence farmers and so we are learning from our neighbours how to build our own garden. this is something you would also be a part of.
