I am currently taking a professional break, which I am using as an opportunity to travel and step out of my comfort zone.

I love travelling in a way that allows me to truly immerse myself in local culture and daily life. Rather than just visiting as a tourist, I prefer to get closer to locals, share experiences, and discover places from the inside. This is what led me to Workaway, as it feels like a meaningful way to connect, learn, and contribute.

I am also very motivated by the idea of helping others, taking part in useful projects, and doing something that has real meaning and impact.

I will be travelling in Peru during both July and August. However, I am looking for a Workaway experience only for the first month, as my boyfriend will join me later in August after my volunteering experience is over.

I would love to learn Spanish if the opportunity arises during my stay, as I am currently a complete beginner. In return, I would be happy to help others learn or practice French. We live in cities, so we have no skills in agriculture or gardening (Louis knows how to use a lawn mower if you want), but we have already baby-sit, or worked on construction sites. We've always learnt things quickly so this would not be a problem for us to learn how to work in an organic farm and we will be happy to help out with whatever is needed on the farm or in city.

What else ...

One of my biggest passions is spending time outdoors and being in nature. I love hiking, trail running, and exploring new landscapes. I regularly go running and one of my personal goals is to complete a 100 km trail race before I turn 30!

I also enjoy adventure sports and white-water activities. I like challenging myself, stepping out of my comfort zone, and discovering what I am capable of.

Another hobby of mine is board games. I love how they bring people together in a fun and relaxed way, making it easy to connect, share laughs, and spend quality time together, even without having deep conversations right away.
