Description
At the moment, we are caring for 27 native breed cows on our farm and doing natural organic farming. Our farm has been granted a scope (probationary period) organic farming certificate by the Government of Tamilnadu, which is issued to organic farms in the initial three years of certification. On our 10.5 acres of land, we have planted around 1000 saplings, fruit trees, timber trees, medicinal trees, and more. Interested Workawayers are invited to come to our farm to learn about natural farming through hands-on experience. We gladly provide accommodation and food for our volunteers.

Workawayers will engage in general work around the farm according to the season. This work would include weeding, preparing vegetable beds, watering plants, and harvesting (during the appropriate season).
Workawayers may also assist in the preparation of organic natural pesticides, fertilisers, and vermicompost, all made with the key ingredient of cow dung from our organically fed desi cows.
Additional activities may include cleaning the cow shed, bathing the cows, and supervising the cows while they are grazing.
Work will be assigned according to seasonal needs and the experience, ability, and comfort level of the Workawayer. Work schedules may also very according to the seasons. For example, during the summer, volunteers may work in the early morning and again in the evening while during the cooler months, they may work throughout the day .Languages spoken
