Me and my blue van (of tools/equipment) are driving around Europe at the moment visiting friends, working on projects and seeing amazing places 🙂 But I would also like to visit some people that are not yet my friends and therefore would be interested in some wwoofing style work.

I have a very broad background having grown up on an isolated self sustained farm in Australia, then moved into the arctic circle in Norway. I have full qualifications as a welder/machinist and have worked extensively with electrical and plumbing systems as well as construction. In recent years I have taken a masters in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on renewable energies and optimization of resources. I have also worked for many years with Doctors without Borders in various countries throughout the world. While working for them my main responsibilities were construction, solar system, mechanical generators and vehicles etc.

I am friendly, open minded, like working with my hands, very creative and love finding good solutions with limited resources. I enjoy working with people and learning new things as well as teaching what I know to others. In my van I have a good selection of tools including a welder, air compressor, tile cutter, etc.
I am currently in the west of Belgium but my plan is to start driving south through France, then Spain, Portugal and ferry (maybe) to Sardinia. Then Sicily and Italy. After that I am not sure. I don't really have any time limit so I will just be taking it as it comes.

I am open to eco villages, farms, building projects, mechanical projects, festival setups and most things that involve hands on work. Here are some pics of things I have been working on so far this trip as well as a few older projects.
