Hello :) I’m Margherita, originally from Italy, and I’ve spent the past year living in Eastern Europe.I love traveling, discovering new foods, reading, and going for long walks (very orginal, I know ;)). What truly brings me happiness is seeing my family and friends healthy and joyful. I’m motivated by curiosity and a desire to learn from different cultures.

I stayed with Julia's family for more than two months and had a very meaningful and enriching experience. My main tasks were taking care of horses and helping with the children, which I really enjoyed.

During my stay, I learned a great deal about working with horses and about daily life on a farm. It was a valuable experience to understand how to … read more care for such complex animals 🐴 and to help with different small tasks, even when I was not always confident at first. The family was very supportive, patient, and encouraging, which made it much easier for me to learn. They helped me when I needed it, explained everything clearly, and taught me how to approach work with more confidence and a more positive attitude. What I appreciated most was the time I spent with the kids. Even though I don’t speak German, we were still able to communicate well and gradually became friends 😊 They are very smart and funny, and I already miss them a lot.

They were also very supportive during the final period of my studies: they gave me time to focus on my university work, drove me to the train station when needed, and were very attentive to my needs. I also appreciated their thoughtful gestures, such as preparing my bicycle and helping fix the terrace. When I graduated, they celebrated with me , which meant a lot.

I loved the horses, the surrounding nature, the flat, and the peaceful environment. The meals prepared by Karin and Julia were always healthy and tasty. The emotional support and encouragement I received were especially important to me. I felt that I was not only helping on a farm, but also learning how to be more active, open, and positive in daily life.

Julia is incredibly sweet, tireless, and always doing a thousand things. Karin is the heart of the family, admirable and constantly active. Hauke is a very hard worker and always present. The children are wonderful, full of energy and joy, and truly unforgettable. I already miss all of them deeply 🌸

This experience also taught me that a real family is a team: working together, caring for each other, and respecting everyone’s needs and interests 🤝

This is the perfect place if you want to do outdoor activities, help with small or big tasks depending on the day, live close to animals, enjoy clean air and nature, and be part of a supportive environment that includes not only horses and farm life, but also cats and a very lively household.

This was a very positive experience, and I am very grateful for the trust, kindness, help and support I received. I would be very happy to come back to visit them again! It was a small paradise in Lützhorn that gave me a lot of positive energy, and I will always carry that with me 💛🌿🐴
