  ***NOTE: I will make my selection closer to the dates, likely in mid-October***
  
  I will be out of the country for 2-3 months (roughly December 1, 2024 through February 15, 2025) and I need someone to take care of my friendly cat while I'm away. In exchange, you get to live for FREE in a high-rise apartment in the heart of Detroit – right near the river with AMAZING views of downtown from the 27th floor!
  
  In advance of my trip, I'd be glad to show you around a bit and help you get acclimated. It would be preferable if you were able to meet in late November to get a set of keys and instructions (and to go out for drinks or a hike – whatever you prefer). Very limited work is required, but you must be reliable and able to cover the entire trip. An intermediate level of English is also necessary in case any problems arise.

  My area of Detroit is fantastic and you'll have plenty to do during your time here. Like I said, I'll be glad to show you around and answer any questions you have. You'll be welcome to use my bicycle as well. I also have a keyboard piano for music lovers, plenty of books and subscriptions to many streaming services, so plenty of TV and movies to watch as well.

  I just need someone to spend time with my cat, clean the litter box, make sure he's well fed, etc. I'd also appreciate you checking the mail and doing the basics to keep my apartment nice and tidy. I want someone here daily, so please only message me if you can commit to the entire duration of my trip. (I will be able to provide more specific dates by October at the latest.)
