    Description

Small family eco campsite currently under construction, located in the village of Sopot, right next to the beautiful Batanska River, surrounded by forest and close to the Sopot Reservoir and the Vasilovska Mountain. This area is a true paradise for nature lovers, with rivers, mountains, hiking trails, fishing spots, and peaceful landscapes all around. We are creating this place with a lot of love and care, with the idea to offer a calm, simple, and meaningful way of living close to nature.

We are looking for friendly, motivated, and open-minded volunteers who would like to join us in building this peaceful place from the very beginning. The help we need is varied and depends on the season and the current stage of the project. It may include gardening and growing vegetables in our small garden, general maintenance and cleaning, helping with setting up the campsite and common areas, light construction and repairs, assisting with guests during the season, as well as creative projects such as painting, decorating, and eco design. No special experience is required – a positive attitude, responsibility, and willingness to help are the most important qualities.

In exchange, we offer accommodation in a quiet natural environment, either in a tent, caravan, or a simple room, shared meals or cooking together using fresh vegetables from our garden, and a warm, friendly, family-like atmosphere. Our place is calm and relaxed, with evenings by the campfire, soft music, shared conversations, and plenty of time to enjoy nature. During your free time you can swim in the river, hike in the mountains, relax by the reservoir, practice yoga or meditation, or simply enjoy the silence and fresh air.

This is not a party place. It is a space for slow living, eco lifestyle, digital detox, mindfulness, creativity, and true rest. We welcome volunteers mainly from spring to autumn, for both short-term and long-term stays, depending on availability and mutual understanding. We are happy to host solo travelers, couples, or friends who love nature, animals, and simple living. We speak Bulgarian and basic English, but communication is always friendly and easy.

If you feel inspired by the idea of helping to create a small eco campsite from the ground up and living close to nature, we will be happy to welcome you.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Travellers will become part of our small family project and experience everyday life in a Bulgarian village. They will learn how people live, work, cook, grow food, and spend their time in harmony with nature. Through shared meals, simple living, mutual help, and open communication, cultural exchange becomes a natural and meaningful experience. Volunteers often leave not only with new skills, but also with new friendships and a deeper understanding of a different way of life.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Accommodation is still limited as the campsite is under development. At the moment, we have only a few simple beds available in shared space, but we also provide large, comfortable tents for volunteers who do not have their own. If you prefer, you are of course welcome to bring your own tent or camper as well. Even though the conditions are simple and modest for now, the atmosphere is warm, friendly, and close to nature, and everyone has enough space and privacy to feel comfortable.
