2026 update:
London: I would like to find a housesitting arrangement in London for the end of February/early March
Wales: If my plan to go to Canada for a few months doesn't go through, I will stay in Europe and start exploring Wales in March.
From March - till mid August
Canada: I would like to travel to Canada mostly interested in British Columbia and mountain areas, but open to anything. It has been my dream to explore Canada a bit, and though why not this year.
Hello Everyone!
I am Evi from Hungary(36y) and I have been an "official" helper since 2017, when I traveled to New Zealand on WHV and continued to Australia and back to Europe. I was hosted ~20 times and have plenty of references, but on a different platform (helpX- I uploaded a screen recording of my helpx profile, where all my references can be read- the video is under the pictures). I had amazing experiences staying with locals and love the site, but it seems like everyone is moving over here, so decided to register here as well. I am looking forward to finding amazing connections through this platform as well.
I have worked with children for 8 years(i was an au-pair and a teaching assistant in kindergartens) and I also did a lot of seasonal work(orchards, tree nursery, greenhouses), gardening, some painting, construction (i am not skilled!) , helped in local gift/fishing shops, made bee wax wraps, helped a lot of airbnbs and homes to be clean, looked after pets, sheep herding, I am happy to help with anything - but I will admit I don't enjoy cooking :D
In my free time I love to do activities outside, I hike a lot and most of the time I have my tent with me, I love exploring natural wonders, but I also love playing cards/board games (mostly stategy ones) ! I love geocaching also!

Before NZ/volunteering I lived in England and was an au-pair for a beatiful kind family for 5 years, looking after 3 amazing children. I was also a teaching assistant in a kindergarten for 2 years, so have plenty of experience with kids.
