Description
We are a family of five and a dog. I’m Chiara, 52 years old, a University Professor of Psychology; Fabio, 54, is a theatre technician; Bianca, 19, Agata, 16, and Michelangelo are all students. We live in a terraced house surrounded by nature in Vicopisano, a beautiful medieval village in the heart of Tuscany. We live with respect for nature and others, and we enjoy being part of the local community centered around the town’s recreational club, which hosts cultural, social, and fair-trade initiatives. Ginger, our Golden Retriever, loves having company and running through the woods at least twice a day.

We will involve you in all our daily activities—both personal and those within the local community. This will offer a full immersion into Tuscan culture. Thanks to our diverse network of contacts, ranging from cultural and scientific to social and political, our guest will be able to choose the activities that interest them most. It will also be a great opportunity to learn Italian, if desired.

Help
We could use some help with garden care (e.g., mowing the lawn, tending to the plants),, and taking Ginger out for walks. We would also love to encourage English conversation with our children, possibly including a few lessons.

Accommodation
We offer a double bed room and the use of all the house facilities. The house is fully cleaned every week. We will share breakfast and two main meals a day. We can cook vegetarian or accomodate to the guest needs.

Bus and trains can be reached easily by bike; me and Fabio can also offer car rides when we commute to work, whenever possible.
