Description

We are Emma and Andy from the United Kindom. We are in our 40s and left the UK in December 2025 as we have always loved to travel and felt there was more out there to see and discover and didn't want to regret not taking the leap. We would rather say "wow we did that" rather than in 20 years look back and wish we had tried. Our moto is "If not now, then when?"
We have travelled to 7 countries and are happiest experiencing local cultures and love to visit small villages and towns rather than tourist places as we can immerse ourselves with locals and learn more about each place we explore.
This is what has led us to Workaway as we want to use this opportunity travelling to use our skills and hopefully learn more skills as you're never too old to learn.
We are laidback, hardworking individuals with great communication skills. We both love the outdoors and are reliable and much prefer a simple life.
Our hobbies include outdoors especially the mountains and we are trail and ultra runners so we should be fit, we also love cooking. We work great as a team as well as have individual skills.

We are reliable and hardworking and after 6 months of travelling Asia we feel ready to use our skills around the world to help others as well as learn new skills.
We have great communication and customer service skills and enjoy interacting with people from different backgrounds. We also take pride in doing any task we are given to a high standard and Andys attention to detail is amazing.
We are able to help with cooking, cleaning, petcare, childcare and customer service.
We are both well organised, learning new skills and adapting our own is very important to us.
We are quick learners and as we are in our 40s have lots of transferable skills.
Andy is a carpenter and had his own company in the UK and is excellent at DIY and amazing at fixing things.
We both have a full clean UK driving Licence and are non smokers.
Andy has driven in several different countries using both sides of the road in cars and on scooters.
