Description
2020 I worked in Italy the first time. I now speak much better Italian!
I'm Claudine, a French woman, retired but lively and energetic. I like to laugh, to communicate, but to meditate too. I love culture and nature too.
I was born in Algeria where I spent the first eight years of my life (till the independance).
When I was 25, I went to Germany where I lived for 6 years.
After retiring, I went to Senegal (to the Casamance... the south of Senegal) where I spent 3 years in a small village, with good African friends (we had guest rooms).
Il like other people, languages and cultures. But I hate to travel as a tourist. I like to discover a country by living there and meeting local people, and Westerners who live in the country too.
I was in Chile in February 2015 and in Italy in October 2016 (to pick olives).
February, march, april 2017, I stayed 10 weeks in south India (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka). A beautiful and interesting trip in Workaway-families (6 weeks) and involved with charity-projekts (2 weeks) . There, I could improve my english too!!!!
2017/2018 I stayed 5 months in Portugal and Spain. 2019 five months again in Spain and Portugal.
2020/ 2021/ 2022 I spent 3 months in Umbria (Italy) and 9 months in Sicily.
I was a teacher for most of my career: kindergarden and primary school teacher; German and French teacher for foreigners; teacher trainer. In Germany/ Berlin, I was a tourist guide too.
I don't like a life of routine. That's why I did different things: working one year on organic farms for example (goats, then vegetables, and finally cows, making cheese....).
Ad Angers partecipo ad un'associazione che ha fondato una valuta complementaria: la MUSE/ Monnaie à usage solidaire et écologique (association "Agir pour la transition").
Anche cucino come volontaria en il "Bistrot des citoyens du monde": cucina biologica, conferenze, concerti, un'universita popularia, etc

2022 e 2023 ho trascorso 2 settimane con Irene, Daniele, Selene et Giulio. une famiglia molto simpatica.
Ho fatto un po' di tutto (orto, dipingere, dare il cibo agli animali, cucinare...). Mi sentivo come nella mia famiglia. C'è sempre da fare per aiutare. Il posto è bello e si puo andare a piedi a Ragusa ibla!!!

Maria Cristina, Federico and Elaia are an extraordinary family. After 5 minutes with them, you feel home. I spent 4 weeks in April and 2 weeks in july with them and I'll return this year. I felt sohappy with them and I could discover many sides of the sicilian culture.

C'est un magnifique jardin aux multiples arbres et fleurs. il y a aussi un potager à arroser régulièrement, ainsi que les plantes vertes et plantes grasses. Maider et Paquito sont des hôtes extraordinaires, et les enfants sont adorables. Avec eux tous, on se sent tout de suite faire partie de la famille. La région est magnifique (mer, montagne, la superbe ville de Grenade, etc).

La magnifique propriété de Thomas et Suzanne se trouve sur les hauteurs de Monchique et la vue est époustouflante. Le grand jardin en terrasse est superbe et c'est avec plaisir que j'ai contribué à l'entretenir.

Les coups de main du moment étaient: passer de l'huile de lin sur les surfaces en bois, cuisiner, nourrir les animaux, accompagner Werner aux cours du soir.... J'ai passé 3 semaines très agréables avec Inma et José. Les relations ont été chaleureuses. Je me suis principalement occupée du jardin et j'ai cuisiné un peu. Je travaillais à mon rythme et ai fini la tâche qui m'avait été confiée.
