Description
We are a family of husband and wife and 3 kids aged 3 months, 9 and 11 years (a 2 boys and a girl) living in a house 15 minutes from the center of Alicante City. We have a lovely garden of tall trees giving it a great feeling of living in the countryside. It is very peaceful yet close to the big city and the beach. We have a small swimming pool. There are also some animals like chickens and a parrot. We also have fast internet with fiber. We are an easygoing family. We speak Norwegian, English, and Shona. The kids speak Spanish but our Spanish is unfortunately not good so mastery of English is necessary. You will get your own bedroom and bathroom although in periods we will be fixing up the bathroom and then you will share with the rest of the family.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You will be exposed tho Norwegian, Spanish and Shona (Zimbabwean) culture. You can eat traditional Scandinavian, Spanish and Southern African food and if you want to practice Norwegian, Spanish (with the kids) or even Shona (with wife or our to grown up daughters (who do not live with us but visit often)). We are very close to some genuine Spanish restaurants where you will be hard pressed to spot a single tourist. But if you want the tourist scene Alicante City is just a 15 minute drive away.

Accommodation
Bedroom in the house with access to your own work area. You will be eating your meals with us but if we are away or you get hungry at any time just help yourself. Any particular diet or requirements will be catered to (within reason).

What else ...
We are very flexible regarding work hours. If you want to have a day off you can make up for it on other days. There is a taxi for bus service that allows you to take a taxi to town for the same price as you pay for bus. Once you are in Alicante there is a myriad of ways to get around. We also have two cars so in some cases one of them could be made available. Great if you have a drivers license but not a requirement.
