Hi everyone! We are Jannik (26, Germany) and Anja (25, Austria) and we are very excited to spend our summer in Canada. While Jannik is about to become a teacher for Physical Education and English, Anja has a degree in Environmental Sciences and Education. What brings us together is the passion for education and the outdoors. That is also how our story began three years ago: in a canoe in Norway. Ever since, we’ve shared a deep passion for movement, nature, and mindful living.
As for our experience, we both have worked various hospitality jobs before, even at an alpine hut. Both of us enjoy to share our passions with children, Jannik as a climbing instructor and camp guide, Anja as a ski instructor. We are at our happiest when we’re active outdoors, therefore, we enjoy gardening or other kinds of hands-on work. We also have some experience in maintenance and renovation work, and are always eager to learn new skills. We are diligent and meticulous workers and value clear communication. In our quiet time, you’ll find us sipping coffee, reading, sharing vegetarian meals or getting competitive over a board game.
We are looking forward to some meaningful exchanges and making lasting memories in Canada!
