Anne and Berend were really great Workawayers to have as guests! They are friendly, relaxed, and very open and social. From the beginning, we immediately had a great connection. They picked up the work quickly and worked independently and with motivation. It was really enjoyable working with them, and they also brought a positive and pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely recommend them to other hosts, and they are always welcome back!

Michal joined us last minute and stayed for 7 days during a Newfoundland winter. She’s a fantastic vegetarian cook, adventurous, and always up for exploring. We did a cultural exchange for her photography skills, and she’s incredibly talented. She captured some beautiful shots for our band that we’ll treasure. Michal brought such positive, easygoing energy to our home and was an absolute joy to host. Our house cat loved spending time with her, which says a lot. You’d be very lucky to host her. She’s welcome back anytime.

Jess, Kelsy y Sunny, son Luz, sonido y ternura, durante el tiempo que compartimos disfruté ver a Jess enseñar a mi pequeña Valery perder el temor a las cuerdas y tocar sus primeros acordes en la guitarra, disfruté de cocinar con Sunny fue muy divertido, con Kelsy agradezco poder escucharme y abrir mi corazón con ella, fue liberador y encontré paz y equilibrio. Gracias por todo lo que hicieron por nosotras y nuestro proyecto,cada que veo a Valery aprender más temas en la guitarra agradezco a Dios por ustedes y por ponerlas en nuestro camino, amigas para siempre, hermanas del alma. I stayed for 1 week and it was an amazing experience. Sky and Carsten is really sweet and will teach you a lot of stuffs, also have amazing stories to tell. Its also in the middle of Berlin so its easy to explore the city.

Aline ci ha accolto in casa come se fossimo vecchie amiche . Come prima cosa la volevo ringraziare per l’accoglienza e per averci fatto sentire proprio come a casa in famiglia . Il lavoro è sempre stato equilibrato e si è sempre preoccupata di chiederci se stessimo bene o se il lavoro era troppo . Erano tutti compiti riguardanti la sua attività di agricoltore quindi aiuto nella preparazione dei campi di asparagi, aiuto nella pulizia dello stabile dedicato agli asparagi, alimentazione polli alimentazione galline . Stare con lei ci ha riportato all’importanza del contatto con la terra . La ringrazio per avermi portato in un mondo che è abbastanza lontano da quello che sono abituata a vedere . E la ringrazio per averci trasmesso i valori del suo lavoro e della sua vita . Super consigliata ovviamente se si vuole conoscere il territorio e quello che può offrire.

Fue muy hermosa la experiencia con Félix, todo un científico de la física, me encantaba verlo explicar a Pau las tareas escolares de temas tan importantes y que desconozco pero que me impresionaba y me gustaba aprender, serás un gran maestro de la física y química, estoy muy agradecida por la dedicación y esfuerzos de ambos por contribuir en el vivero, verlos en los vídeos de Clara fue muy divertido y muy gratificante, el compromiso que tuvieron por ayudar nuestras especies en peligro (Macurutú) gracias Félix y Soléne, ver el germinador lleno de tantas semillas germinadas conmovió mi corazón y lloré de emoción y felicidad.

Thank you so much for this wonderful experience and for giving me the chance to also work with the ideas thas came to me. The spot was amazing, the food was fantastic and the family was loving, intelligent and are open to New ideas. I had a great time working and living with them. Also we could talk about our Faith and played some Chess. Their young one is Wise bevond her age. I would love to see them again. 13Love

tenia un tiempo genial con yani y las otras voluntarias! muy tranquilo, relajado y el trabajo fue muy interesante y no tan pesado. para ir al pueblo y para hacer los trekkings tienes que ir con dedo, a mi me encanta, hable con muchas personas muy hermosas y nunca tienes que esperar mucho tiempo! para mi era una experiencia lindo, pude mejorar mi español y me encanta tener una comunidad como eso después de viajar mucho sola. yani también me daba un conocimiento de las problemas políticos de este región, gracias para educarme un poco! y gracias en general, la calidad con que me tratas y todos los conversaciones interesantes!

Easiest couple in the world to have around - so friendly from the moment I met them the conversations just flowed. They both are enthusiastic workers, happy to take on any task. We provided them a list of jobs to work on and they were determined to finish the list! - so they are self motivated we could leave them to work on their own, organise their time and tools without the need to micromanage. Really happy the couple stayed with us!

Livi is a nice person, great singer, we shared hard work and good fun. Nice experience to receive her at our home.

Carmen is a very nice and sweet person. I stayed with Carmen two weeks I painted the bathroom, the kitchen and the living room with her. I drove the car to go shopping and the vet. I did some gardening staff. She's a really good cooker, it's always very tasty. Every morning you've time for you, you work only few hours, she's very relax. Carmen took me to see a market place in Portugal, walked near the sea and watching musicians play in the village church. The life with Carmen is quiet and nice.

I enjoyed staying with Kikki and her husband, both are very friendly and open couple, they encouraged me to also go out and enjoy the island a bit. I enjoyed working in the garden and cleaning he outdoors around the house. I highly recommend them as hosts anytime they open their doors to new guests

one of the best Workaway experiences I ever had. Absolutely nice and friendly people who still stick to my mind even three years ago ☺️
