  ¡Hola! Soy Carmen y me he mudado recientemente a una casa cerca del Río Miño preciosa, grande y con el jardín que siempre he querido... Pero con muucho trabajo. Mi casa es la definición perfecta de 'tiene muchas posibilidades'. Me gustaría ofrecer una habitación cómoda y bonita en una zona perfecta si os gusta la naturaleza, los amaneceres increíbles y la gente que saluda. A cambio, busco ayuda para tareas varias de diario: trabajar la pequeña zona de huerta, limpiar exteriores, hacer recados o ir a por leña.
  Ah, y estaré encantada de compartir la gastronomía gallega y nuestras costumbres mientras escuchamos a los pajaritos o paseamos por el río.
  
  Hi! I'm Carmen, and I recently moved to a beautiful, spacious house near the Miño River with the garden I've always wanted... but it took a lot of work. My house is the perfect definition of "has a lot of potential." I'd like to offer a comfortable and beautiful room in a perfect location if you love nature, incredible sunrises, and people-watching. In return, I'm looking for help with various daily tasks: working in the small vegetable garden, cleaning outdoors, running errands, or fetching firewood. Oh, and I'd be happy to share Galician cuisine and our customs while we listen to the birds or walk along the river.

  Estamos situados en medio de viñedos, ríos, festas e ferias gastronómicas, un entorno cultural bastante activo para una zona tan pequeña y todavía con mucha gente y familia joven que han elegido esto por encima de vivir en la ciudad. A mí me gusta mucho cocinar platos típicos, las plantas y sus usos, hacer manualidades a mi manera, compartir lo que sé y escuchar a otros.
  
  We're located amidst vineyards, rivers, festivals, and food fairs, a fairly active cultural environment for such a small area, yet still filled with many young people and families who have chosen this over living in the city. I love cooking traditional dishes, plants and their uses, making crafts in my own way, sharing what I know, and listening to others.

La casa está a 90 metros del Río Miño y aun más cerca del Río Tamuxe, la zona es preciosa y tranquila y aquí todo el mundo saluda:) Ofrezco una habitación cómoda y bonita a cambio de ayuda en obra menor (por ejemplo: limpiar y preparar el huerto, retirar o colocar algún mueble, ir a hacer recados, etc). También compartiré la oferta gastronómica gallega y nuestras costumbres mientras escuchamos a los pajaritos o damos un paseo en bici por el río.

The house is 90 meters from the Miño River and even closer to the Tamuxe River. The area is beautiful and quiet, and everyone here says hello.   No tengo problema en hablar solo en gallego si es lo que el/la voluntaria quieren. Igual con el español. Mi yerno es sudafricano y también está aprendiendo así que estoy acostumbrada

  Accommodation

  Casa de 2 plantas construidas. Yo vivo en el bajo que está perfectamente preparado para vivir. Ahí está también la habitación que ofrezco y que hemos reformado recientemente. La cocina se reformará en noviembre y una ducha con agua caliente y buena presión.La cocina da al jardín, que es grande y bonito y el mejor lugar donde tomarse el primer café :)
  Según tus preferencias alimentarias intentaré ajustarme. Mi hija es vegana y yo cocino comida típica de la zona y me gusta experimentar con platos de otros sitios.
  
  Hola! Compartiré mi comida con el/la voluntaria. Cocino gastronomía gallega y española y algunos platos internacionales. Estoy acostumbrada también a hacer opciones veganas.
  
  Two-storey house. I live on the ground floor, which is perfectly equipped for living. That's also where the room I'm offering is located, which we've recently renovated. The kitchen will be renovated in November and has a shower with hot water and good pressure. The kitchen opens onto the garden, which is large and beautiful and the best place to have your first coffee :)
  I will try to adapt to your dietary preferences. My daughter is vegan, and I cook typical local food and like to experiment with dishes from other places.

  Hay, al menos, una bici disponible. No hay muchos autobuses pero si uno a la hora todos los ias hacia A Guarda y hacia Vigo. Portugal está a 12-15 minutos de aquí y hay rutas de bici porque es Camino de Santiago. Si te gusta la Naturaleza, hay rutas, animalitos, playa de costa y río, pozas, miradores etc.
  Vivo una vida tranquila y sin humos (bueno, el de la barbacoa o la cocina de hierro sí se aceptan jaja), suelo dormir hasta tarde así que el día aquí empieza a partir de las 12 (no os haré madrugar) y por aquí se come tarde (tipo 3-4).
  
  There is at least one bicycle available. There are not many buses, but there is one every hour to A Guarda and Vigo. Portugal is 12-15 minutes away, and there are cycling routes because it is on the Camino de Santiago. If you like nature, there are trails, animals, beaches, rivers, pools, viewpoints, etc.
  I live a quiet, smoke-free life (well, barbecue smoke and cooking smoke are acceptable, haha). I usually sleep late, so the day here starts at 12 noon (I won't make you get up early), and we eat late (around 3-4 p.m.).
