En: We spent two wonderful weeks with Ross and Shari. We had a lovely, cosy little cottage to ourselves. Their property is stunning; the children were able to spot wallabies and iguanas both up close and from a distance. We loved eating mangoes every day and sharing the delicious evening meals Shari cooked for us. Ross is a brilliant handyman and, together with Joseph, they shared this passion with us. I don’t know how to thank you for your kindness and generosity. You took the time to show us your favourite spots: walks, swimming, the cinema, and a music concert. Thank you for everything! I highly recommend it; it’s a place rich in shared experiences. Joseph, Emmanuelle and our four children. Fr: Nous avons passé deux belles semaines avec Ross et Shari. Nous avions à disposition une petite maison très confortable. Leur propriété est magnifique, les enfants ont pu voir de près et de loin des wallaby et des iguanes. Nous avons adoré manger des mangues tous les jours, partager les délicieux repas du soir que Shari nous préparait. Ross est un ingénieux bricoleur et, avec Joseph, ils ont beaucoup partagé cette même passion. Je ne serai comment vous remercier de votre gentillesse et générosité. Vous avez pris le temps de nous faire découvrir vos endroits préférés : balade, baignade, cinéma, concert de musique. Merci pour tout ! Je recommande, c'est un lieu riche de partage et d'expérience. Hej Line Du warst eine grosse Unterstützung für unser gesamtes Team in unserer Wintersaison 24/25 und auch im Herbst 24! Es war ja ziemlich spontan, dass du zu uns gekommen bist 😊 Du hast sehr schnell gelernt und hast überall mit angepackt. Auch wenn mal mehr Arbeit anstand hast du nicht gezögert zu helfen. Der Umgang mit unseren Hunden war stets sehr liebevoll, aber du konntest dich auch mal gut durchsetzen 😅 Du bist auch noch länger geblieben, als abgemacht war und dafür danken wir dir jetzt noch! Und du bist auch stets willkommen bei uns 🇸🇪🐕

Nina stayed with us for a week to help with various projects, from mowing grass, screwing in walls, to putting together furniture and other machinery parts. Nina is eager to learn new things and enthusiastically offers her help. We experienced Nina as an easygoing young woman, who fitted in with our lifestyle. We wish Nina well on her next adventures and can recommend her to other hosts.

Janae stayed with us for 2 weeks, Janae is a good worker , has a great sense of humor and very easy to work with , Janae worked on our gardens had a great knowledge of plants , great operator on the log splitter (9.5 out of10) , helped with farm chores and helped in the house . Janae thanks for all your help and would be most welcome to come back to stay .

There are very few people whose presence feels truly effortless, people who are genuinely open to learning, understanding, and also sharing their own perspective while remaining ready to embrace new ones. We feel Nicolas is one of those rare individuals. During his time here, he brought a deep sense of ease to the space. Through his presence, he naturally connected with everyone around him. He actively engaged in different forms of exchange, whether it was language, culture, or even food. These small but meaningful interactions created a beautiful environment of shared learning. What stood out most was his warm, calm, and consistently positive energy. He carries a natural smile and a gentle openness, which had a very positive impact on the children. They felt comfortable around him, and over time, we could see them opening up more freely. When we host someone, our intention is not only that they contribute, but also that they experience and absorb the culture, the food, and our philosophy of learning through nature. It makes us happy to see that Nicolas truly engaged with this process and carried it with him. Through his presence, his exchanges, and his simplicity, he contributed in a meaningful and lasting way. Nicolas is a wonderful human being, and we would wholeheartedly recommend hosting him to anyone who gets the opportunity.

A wonderful place and a wonderful hostess. We spent six fantastic weeks with the charming Titou and her lovely animals. A hug and her smile as a welcome made us feel right at home straight away. After a storm had knocked down a few trees, our daily routine for about half of our stay consisted of helping with the clear-up and woodwork. The work also included renovation and gardening tasks. But there was certainly no shortage of opportunities to be creative either! We were able to let our imaginations run wild painting furniture and laying mosaics. Anyone who comes here never wants to leave! Across the entire property, you can find painted stones, colourful furniture and other wonderful decorations. There is something to discover around every corner – every single day. But what truly gives this place its magic is Titou herself. She, her friends and the Workaways became our family during our stay, and we created unforgettable memories with them even outside of our daily work routine. Femke came in and immediately understood what needed attention here. I barely had to explain anything — she just saw what needed care and took initiative right away. She arrived during a time when we were a bit short-staffed, and her support made a real difference. She helped across the board: daily tasks, organizing things, working on the menu, even photography — just generally taking ownership and improving whatever she touched. Great attitude, high energy, and very easy to work with. Also, Femke—one of the kittens will be named after you. They’re still nameless for now 🙂 We miss you already and hope to see you again somewhere soon.

Andy and Dalina are truly going above and beyond to provide their kids the best life possible and we feel so grateful that we had the chance to stay at Sanctuary under the Stars! Besides of caring for the animals, our favorite part of the day was playing board games with them in the evening! Since they are still in the process of building/improving the whole Sanctuary and they're based in the middle of nowhere, everything is very basic. However if you don't mind that and you love to spend time with likeminded people, a lot of beautiful animals & being able to see the stars at night this is the perfect place for you! We definitely will never forget this experience and are happy to have met Andy and Dalina <3

I had Taylor and her brother staying with me for over a week. They were a great team and an absolute delight to have around. She was really diligent and efficient and did a great job of everything I asked and also was great company. I can highly recommend her!

I absolutely loved my time with GG!! This was my very first Workaway experience and GG made it to an unforgettable one. She's a very kind woman who communicates everything very clearly. That makes working extremely easy! The moment I arrived, she created a very welcoming and warm atmosphere. The caravan is super lovely and I enjoyed cocking with the home-grown veggies! It's easy to talk to GG and I'll miss our evenings spent cocking and watching our travel show! Don't hesitate to stay with her -- you won't regret it! I'm definitely visiting when I'm in New Zealand again! Thank you so much GG for our time together! Just thinking about it brings me joy!!

The host is a really kind person, we get proper meals twice a day, and the room is clean. It was my first time visiting Nakhon Sawan, but I really like this place — there are many nice people and plenty of shops. I quickly became friends with the other volunteers, and I’m sure we’ll see each other again even after this volunteer experience ends

We stayed with Ruth and Mark for 2,5 weeks the first time and came back for another week at the end of our trip in New Zealand. We really enjoyed staying at their place because of the varied rewarding tasks. Such as collecting wood, gardening, building a fence and our favorite; doing the cows in the morning with Abbi. We loved every dinner during our stay and enjoyed the times we played card games. Their house is full of kindness from the warm-hearted and thoughtful people and animals, however it may not be for everyone because it is a quite busy household. Furthermore, we will miss all the dogs and the beautiful sunsets from the deck. Thank you so much Ruth and Mark for letting us stay at your place twice and trusting us with your animals when you were away.

my experience here it was the most relaxing and satisfyingly . the owners are incredibly friendly and laid back. they speak English perfectly and honestly take care of yoy, your needs you comfort you food. they don't ask for anything in return if not to add a little or your personal touch the pace, which could be by painting, building, farming, hosting, basically whatever you do best! they will give you green light to express yourself freely , creatively or in whatever way you want. the only daily "must do" ? scaring away the monkeys during the day with a sling shot, and to water the plants every evening because it was dry season. the other projects are all up to you. you will also meet to most friendly neighborhood, where they all help each order daily regarding everything. Legend is the legend in town ,and Man own the coffe bar restaurant in front. amazing people and amazing food, although the food is never missing at the camping:) the pace it's big , with a river, and gives you Al lot of options on how to use it. there are often other long stay volunteers as that are all happy to take care of the place together . amazing work exachange! thank you forever MD!

Jeane and Esther, I have experiences to work with Jeane and Esther for one week at my school which located in Battambang Cambodia. We have a great memories even just one week. They both did very great job to support the kids and teachers at school. They are very creative idea to bring some change to school during their working. As the school director, I am really impressive and thankful for their value time to be apart at my school and family. I really love both of them very much. They are amazing volunteers. Our children, teachers and family really miss them already. We really hope to meet them again in the near future. Best wishes.

Flora is an absolute amazingly, inspiring person. We had fun, and we got a lot done! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Flora comes with a lot of experience in household, kitchen, cooking and gardening chores, so she could easily accomplish any tasks that were on my list. She helped get the house cleaned for my big whanau visit, did the weeding, cleaned the driveway, picked fruit and helped with processing. I would have Flora back any time ... ! Irina es una inspiración de fortaleza y aventura. Tanto ella como sus hijos perrunos te dan una cálida bienvenida desde el principio. Para mí ella fue mi familia, me ayudó con mucho y siempre estuvo dispuesta y con buena energía para hacerme sentir cómoda y contenta . Terminamos forjando una relación de amigas pero también a veces mamá-hija. Me hizo pasar un maravilloso e inolvidable tiempo en la isla y sinceramente la experiencia que me llevó en el corazón de todo mi viaje por Tailandia. Como recomendación importante para viajeros: - Cambia suficiente dinero antes de tomar el bote a la isla. Vas a gastar más de lo que piensas si quieres disfrutar al máximo. Y el cambio en la isla no es bueno. - Si tienes tiempo antes de subir al bote haz todas las compras que necesites en Ranong o en la península. Ya que en la isla te vas a encontrar con todo lo que necesites pero a un precio más alto obviamente por ser una isla. Entonces para cigarrillos, cervezas, comida, frutas, REPELENTE DE MOSQUITOS Y PROTECTOR SOLAR.

A small shared living community just outside Black Creek, in a quiet area very close to Miracle Beach. The group operates independently, mainly helping Kolby with his work in the garden or around the house. There is plenty to do, and you can also organize your own working hours. Kolby cooks a fantastic dinner every day. In the mornings and at lunchtime, you usually take care of yourself from the fridge or eat leftovers. On some days, Kolby works away from home, giving you free time or the chance to work independently as you prefer. I was also able to take days off when I planned an excursion. The evenings at the beach are breathtaking. Kolby is a fun guy who helps with the work, assigns tasks based on your strengths, and has extensive knowledge of gardening and edible plants, which he is happy to share. We laughed a lot together, and the final evening—when his girlfriend was back—was amazing. I also spent my free time with others in the shared house, which I really enjoyed. It was a great experience. Thank you so much guys for this amazing time🤗☀️💕🐳
