  Description

  Hello there! We are a family of artists that together with a community of international and local artists have created a Theatre and Art Space on the beautiful greek island Skiathos!
  
  The Theatre is run by Phaedra, a greek dancer and choreographer, and Ben, a german cultural educator and musician. It is a family business, as the initiators of the project and biggest helpers are Phaedra's parents, Yannis and Sevi (musician and director). We are a family of artists that stronly beleive in the power of art in bringing people and communities together.
  
  Through dance-theatre performances, art exchibitions and concerts, our guests can get in touch with Greek culture, Greek philosophy, Greek mythology and the professional contemporary art scene of Greece. It is a place of encounters, for exchange, inspiration and entertainment. A place of creativity, to create new relations and networks – on Skiathos, in whole Greece and internationally.
  
  In front of the theatre stage, there is a big garden full of trees and plants, that also works as a bar and concert space, making the Theatre be described as the "Cultural Oasis" of Skiathos.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Theatre is inspired by and deeply promotes the cultural exchange! It is THE space where the local community is meeting for exchange. It is the space where local and international communities come together. You can take all the cultural and art workshops that we offer for free. You will have the chance to exchange directly with the local community and the artists of Skiathos, locals and internationals. Moreover, you can use the space during day and whenever it is free!
  
  You will experience how a small group of artists can manage a Theatre Space on an island. You will get inspired by the love for the arts and the nature and you can take ideas for bringing communitie together through cultural and artistic exchange.
  
  We are looking so much forward to meeting people from around the world, from learning from them, learning their culture, getting to know their life stories and being inspired by them!

  Help

  As it is hard in Greece to get support in the Art scene, we need help in the things we cannot manage alone, such as help with the garden, at the entrance when guests arrive or at the theatre bar. We offer the minimun wage in Greece as a salary (5€ per hour).

  Accommodation

  Option 1 : A shared room in a wonderful Villa in the Town (available in April, May, June and October)!
  Option 2 : If you prefer to have privacy, camping is always possible in the garden of the Theatre (under the olive Trees...). In this case we provide the tents and everything you need. There are of course toilettes and shower possibilities. For cooking, you can use the Kitchen of the Villa any time. (available from April until October).

  Campers and Motorhomes are ideal in this case, as you can use all the space behind the Theatre : a big lot full of olive trees where you can easily park your camper. There are toilettes, shower possibilities and fridge!
