Hello,
We are Esther and Jeanne, two recently graduated 22-year-old french engineers, united by a shared dream: to set off on an adventure across Eastern Asia — by train and backpack — starting from France!
This somewhat crazy project was born from our thirst for discovery, meaningful encounters, and sharing. Our plan? To travel along the tracks, take each day as it comes, and be guided by our curiosity, intuition, and most importantly, by the inspiring people we’ll meet along the way.

We are two young women recently graduated in engineering (chemistry and general engineering), curious, motivated, and ready to roll up our sleeves! Used to working in teams and solving problems, we learn quickly and never shy away from new challenges.

With experience in animation (Scouts and Guides of France), we have a good connection with children, a strong sense of sharing, and great listening skills. We enjoy teaching, building bonds, and adapting to all ages.

We are also quite resourceful and hands-on: from DIY projects, sewing, knitting to painting, we love creating with our hands and putting our energy into tangible projects.

Active, sporty (dance, basketball, hiking, and snow sports), and a bit adventurous, we love being outdoors, staying active, and fully participating in the life of the place we join.

We are committed to living and traveling in line with our ecological values. This train journey project is a perfect example of our dedication to a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. Being close to nature and learning simpler, more sustainable ways of living deeply motivates us.

We are versatile and ready to fully invest ourselves in all tasks given. Whether it’s DIY, leading activities, caring for children, or helping out on the farm, we always bring our energy, positive attitude, and teamwork spirit to the project.
