Hello Workawayers!
We are a South African/ Canadian family who recently bought a cabin right next to the beach in a small , very safe costal town on the Garden Route of South Africa.
We are 350km north east of Cape Town.
We plan to change this cabin into a cute holiday cabin that will be suitable to rent out to families, surfers or any adventurers who want to be within 5 minutes walk to the beach and lagoon.
But we need a bit of help with the last bit of renovations. The rental income from this cabin will go towards a good cause, we can tell you more once you arrive!

Surf, swim or go fishing with locals! Learn some Afrikaans, get to know the local way of life and experience small town coastal living in South Africa.
Fishing gear, body boards and a surf board is available.

There is a few light renovation projects that we need help with asap .
You will have lots of time to explore the beach, swim, surf or just chill with locals.
Skills or experience in carpentry, gardening, painting and general renovating will be helpful but not essencial.

Accommodation
Volunteers will get their own private bedroom.
NOTE* we don't provide food if you work 3 hours a day , 5 days of the week. But your accomodation is free.
If you are willing to volunteer 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, a light self help breakfast and self help supper is included, plus coffee and tea.
