Description
We are three people working towards a self-sufficient organic lifestyle and native habitat regeneration on a beautiful bush property 35 minutes from Hobart. One of us is a freelancer in the social services; one is a retired meteorologist; and one is a retired organic farmer. We are all politically engaged and well-traveled, and two of us enjoy practicing our French and Spanish.

Help
We would like people who are happy to be here in the evenings to make sure that an older person has his dinner and is safely inside.
In general, we would love to have help with gardening, maintenance, cleaning, etc. We would particularly appreciate people with painting and building/carpentry skills! -

Accommodation
We offer a lovely self-contained cottage with a full range of cooking appliances, bath and shower, and (very clean) semi-detached composting toilet, as well as vegetables sourced from our garden and eggs from our chickens. The cottage has a bedroom with a double bed, as well as a fold-out bed in the lounge room.

What else ...
You will find native wildlife and starry nights, and walkers can get to a spectacular waterfall in the neighboring nature reserve. We are a convenient base for catching the ferry to Bruny Island, as well as to lovely swimming beaches.
