    Welcome to my profile!
    I'm Deniz, living in the hills of Kaş, Antalya. I have been living here since 2016.
    Mostly doing basic natural construction and gardening.
    Mud is an unbelievable material and I really enjoy creating useful things with mud.
    Also, during October and November (maybe December), we pick olives.
    October and November is winter seeding time.
    Do not expect a mud work when it is cold. I usually do not host w.awayers during peak winter and summer. But we never know.
    Here, in this village, there are other neighbors also. You can find yourself helping them also. In this village, we help each other.

    My life is simple in this silent village. Daily improvements we do together make me happy.
    I love playing guitar and composing. I am interested in rock and experimental music.

    In 2016, I constructed an earthbag house in which I am living at the moment. I need help from workawayers as I want to convert this land into a spot where "good" people gather and produce together.

    Life in this place is silent and simple. I want to emphasize that life here is really really simple. Better not to expect "city" comfort.

    Another thing I want to emphasize is I do not need workers, I need "friends" with whom I can create hand-made structures and gardens. I want it to be like a family here rather than volunteers that count their days and hours. At times, we may be following a more disciplined work schedule, other times it could be more free.

    Supermarket products are not used here when alternatives exists. There will be fruits, vegetables and dry foods. This place is mostly vegetarian

    In order to take shower, we are heating water in a special kind of stove manufactured for that purpose. We mix hot and cold water in a bucket. During summer or hot days, a hose will work right?

    I spend time with volunteers but also I expect workaways to respect me and allow me some time alone.

    Hippie spirit would be nice, hope you are an animal lover, otherwise forget about it...

    This is a nice place where you can experience the local village life of Turkey. However, people started moving also here. Everywhere is pine forests. You will also have a chance to experience great touristic town, Kaş, which is 30 km away.
