  • Description

    Description

This is an Eco-Guesthouse in the Carpathian Mountains, a 1,5 hrs drive from the Romanian metropolis Cluj-Napoca.
We offer our guests a campsite with dry toilet und solar showers, just beneath some great, old apple trees. A bit down the hill theres our eco-blockhouse. We built it with traditional techniques and local craftsmen, so it fits in the picturesque Transilvanian village of Posaga de Jos For our paying guests we have a range of activities, which mostly can also be offered to our workaway guests.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Life and work in our village is very traditional. Our working guests will die deep into a unique, natural environment. We are cooperating with several lokal artisans and farmers, and share those contacts with our visitors: milk-farmers, vegtable-gardeners, beekeepers, brewers and carpenters. You will experience traditional transilvanian village life!

  • Help

    Help

We need helpers for farmwork, but also for building/renovating the shed above our camping site and other small work. Since we are still in the process of setting up the whole project, types of work can vary widely: cutting grass and trees, sawing, plowing, digging, carrying building materials.
If you have any background in woodwork or construction, that would of course be a great plus - but we are open to every helper that is willing to learn and likes to work.
Standard tasks apart from the building of the house and renovating of a barn, is: cutting grass, collecting and processing fruits (late summer), planting, sowing and setting up raised beds.
Especially in summer the work can be exhausting on some days, so we prefere to host people from 20-50 in a GOOD physical condition.
