I had a very lovely time at Guy and Martine's place, staying there for about 2 1/2 weeks. I helped them repaint their decks. Work was very relaxed and I learned a lot about the French side of Canada! They were also kind enough to take me along to their cottage, to spend the weekends in the woods and explore more of beautiful Québec.

Our time with Guy and Martine was so special and full of memories we will have forever. They are both so kind, funny, welcoming and knowledgable. We learnt so much during our stay about the culture in Quebec and Montréal! We learnt to ride the quad, made fires in the forest and enjoyed our chats at dinner each evening. We did all
… read more sorts of work from moving logs, to power washing outside. The work was all outside which was great! We also met their son Antoine, who is amazing and we had lots of laughs with him, we really enjoyed our time with everyone! If you get the chance to stay with this beautiful family you are very lucky! And off corse not forgetting Miso and Nos who have a special place in our hearts as well.
We can’t wait to see you all again and hopefully we will see you in England one day! Merci beaucoup for everything!

Alors que je ne devais rester que 8 jours, je suis finalement resté presqu'un mois pour les aider à repeindre leurs galeries. J'y ai été très bien accueilli, j'avais ma propre chambre, un vélo à disposition pour aller me promener au parc etc. Je recherchais un peu de calme et de repos après 6 mois de
