My next destination:
Nova Scotia, Canada - from May 2025 until Jun 2025 View allDescription
Belgian traveling around the world, I love walking and looking at the sunrise.
I decided 5 years ago to change my traveling way and to stop taking the plane, since that I travelled mainly by train in Europe, and I crossed the Atlantic by boat from France to Guadeloupe, then from the Caribbean to the US.
Then I travelled during one year across Canada, visiting each province and territories (except Nunavut).
My current project is to go back to Belgium, sailing the Viking Route.

I'm so happy to have met them at the end of my stay in Canada. I spent some time looking after Clair, as well as repainting the garden chairs and cleaning the house a bit.
Edie and Mike took me on an adventure to Micou's Island and Peggy's Cove, we went swimming in the ocean and… read more
Danica, Ken and Keale are very welcoming.
I mainly helped chop and split wood and stock it for the winter.
The ranch is a really great place, peaceful, with a magnificent view.
I liked the campfire evenings, playing board games with Bernie and Isabel (even if I lost),… read more

I learnt a lot about different kind of saw: chainsaw, chopsaw, table saw, jigsaw,
I also learnt how to cast fishing.
I really loved the vibe, the lodge and the landscapes,
Thanks a lot for your confidence and see you soon
I found the peace and quiet I was looking for at this point in my trip.
The place is great, I loved working with the goats (Rori the best), and staying there with the whole workawayers team.
It's time for me to leave… read more
He helped with drainage around the goat sheds, cutting trees that were overgrown, carrying heavy bags and cutting and carrying grass for the goats.
He also helped with processing cocoa and washing the dishes and was very tidy.
It was nice to have his help.
Carol also taught me a lot about the plants and fruits in the garden, medicinal plants, herbal infusion, how to make cocoa, etc.
I had my own accommodation and the schedule and workflow… read more
The volunteering hours were very convenient to be able to explore the island. I had my own private room in the hostel.
I loved my stay here, I recommend it and will definitely come back if I'm ever in Guadeloupe again.
