Welcome to Zurich! We are delighted to welcome you to our family. ✨
We are a warm and dynamic family of four, with two adorable young children: a cuddly two-year-old baby/boy and an energetic four-year-old who keeps us on our toes! We're fortunate to live in a pleasant area of Zurich, where the forest meets city life, offering beautiful views of the lake. Our modern and comfortable apartment is perfectly connected by public transport, making it easy for you to explore the city.
We're looking for someone passionate about children, responsible and proactive, who will become part of our family journey. Your main role will be caring for our baby three days a week, while helping with daily housework and cleaning. We're flexible and open to discussion to find a schedule that works for everyone - we value your personal time and independence!

What We Offer:
Comfortable Accommodations: Private ensuite room in our new apartment (150m2 + garden).
Transportation: We will cover the cost of local transportation in Zurich. Room equipped with hair dryer, towel and soap.
Meals: We enjoy sharing some dinners with our guests and including them in our family activities whenever possible.
Flexibility: We are happy to work around your schedule and interests. Lunch is usually independent. Our host cam always cook or take food when they go visiting outside.
Warm and Welcoming Environment: We are a friendly and supportive family who values open communication.
Important Note: To set expectations, we are in a busy phase with two young children. We have a family-oriented routine, waking up early, dinner around 18h30 and going to bed early. In the evenings, we generally enjoy quiet time and privacy in the living room from 20h30 onwards. Also, we have sleep doors open to hear our son during the night if he gets into trouble. Therefore, our guests are welcome to stay on there dedicated space or go out as there is a private entrance to access their room and also access to our garden During the day I am at home and I also like a bit of privacy so we appreciate discretion sometimes.
We offer a safe environment and know that Zurich is a very safe city to travel.
Additional Information:
Our family speaks French, German, English, and Russian.
We live close to the forest and enjoy biking.
We have a bus stop right in front of our home with frequent service ( every 7 min) to Zurich's main train station including night bus.
We are happy to help you connect with the vibrant Zurich expat community . Our guests got a lot of fun melting them in the local community.
Zurich is a beautiful area and I will provide you with many ideas and things to visit and experience!

We are a multicultural family. We speak 3 languages at home and my husband also speaks Russian.
We leave in Zurich, at the border of the forest and close to the lake and the river. Zurich has a lot to offer with the mountains and the lakes! Also it is very easy to travel with the train across the country and Europe.
We both work in tech companies. I will be in maternity leave and I will have lots of time to spend time with you and discuss around a good meal as I love cooking when I have time.
During my maternity leave I investissement (one of my hobby). My other hobby is aerial dance ( dancing on fabric in the air) and I would love to get back to sport if I have help for childcare. We both have our parents far away so we don't really have time for our hobbies.

Schedule and Responsibilities:
We are flexible and happy to create a weekly plan that suits everyone's needs. Total Hours: Approximately 20-25 hours per week.
Childcare: Our son attends school during the day and we need help to play with him after school (5-7 pm). Our son loves a good laught and we need a great entertainer :) . If experienced with babies, you might have to take care of him 2h sometimes when I have an appointment. Childcare experience or strong interest is a must-have.
Daily Housework: Tasks may include laundry, cooking, light cleaning, tidying, trash, clearing kitchen, making beds.
Cooking: cooking 3,4 times per week in big portions so that covers several days. We eat healthily with daily salad, proteins, and vegetables. We like confident cooks who can manage a meal by looking to what is available in the fridge. We also love cakes! And some of our guest spoiled us with their delicious cooking or baking skills.
One-Time Tasks (as needed during the year):

Accommodation
Our apartment is freshly built and very modern. We are in a 150m2 apartment with 4 bedrooms and a little garden. Our guest will have a Master bedroom (20m2) included a private bathroom with balcony and access to our small garden. Our previous Workaway really liked the space. Also the room is far from the kids so you will not hear anything if they cry at night.
What else ...
On top of the food and accomodations we are happy to offer a weekly pass to travel in Zurich city. Zürich is a very dynamic city with many festivals in winter and summer. Switzerland is a beautiful country to visit! If you like hiking, skiing, or swimming in lakes and rivers you gonna love it
