  Dear volunteer!
  We are glad to become your home here on the chilean Pacific´s coast.
  We are a small family of two moms, a baby born in April 2025 and a 8 years old son. We work online and request help with babycare, and tiny house keeping tasks.
  
  During over 9 years of volunteer´s hosting experience, we had lots of lovely moments and shared with diverse people all over the Globe. Some of our volunteers are our friends since their staying, some of them we hosted more that once. We are a perfect host when you would like to take a pause in your long South American trip, finishing an adventure or starting it in Chile.
  We live in a marvelous climate zone: never hot, never too cold, a bit rainy and foggy only from may to september.

  We wish to find someone who offers genuine, loving babycare and light home support. You’re one of us — because we’re sure: if this works, everything else does! Here you are near the Pacific Ocean, in a calm and safe area, just a 10-minute walk from the wide beaches where you can stay, surf, walk, or even swim — though the water temperature is usually around 11–13°C. We live in a small rural-looking part of Concon city. The streets could be muddy during rainy days and just after.
  
  When it comes to Valparaíso, our goal is for you to discover it deeply. We’ll happily book you a bed there so you can spend one night in the city’s bohemian and heritage quarter — a bit worn but full of charm.
  
  You can climb and sandboard on the Concón Dunes Natural Reserve, walk along the Concón Cliffs Natural Monument, hike up Mauco Hill, follow the heritage route through Valparaíso, enjoy birdwatching, or even take a day or overnight in La Campana National Park.
  
  We do our best to make you feel truly part of our crew and family. If you join us with your heart — offering your patience, kindness, and genuine interest in helping — we will gladly share with you meaningful local experiences such as surf lesson or ceramic workshop, climbing or yoga classes, all available nearby.
  
  We sincerely want you to feel comfortable, valued, and inspired during your stay. In return, what we truly need is to feel that our baby receives the care, love, and quality time he deserves — and that with you, our home and family truly feel better than without you.
  
  We cook often and would love to exchange recipes with you. We can teach you some basic Russian and help you improve your Spanish. We also share access to Deezer, CuriosityStream, and Storytel, so you can enjoy books, music, and documentaries during your free moments.

  Help

  We mostly ask you to help us to take care of our baby, born in april 2025. We alwais will be close by for him. But the pair of helping hands is really the first thing we need. Generally for babysitting we need you up to 5 hours a day, the scedule is flexible and vary according to your and our needs, we conversate it with you to fit it gently.
  
  Some days we don't have a nanny, so we ask you to care of our place with tiny help, mostly this means keep it clean after you use a kitchen and a bathroom, light tasks as loading/unloading the dishwasher, hanging clean clothes, organize kitchen well and teach our 8 y.o. kid to keep his toys and room tidy.

  We are interested in learning and practicing English but not mandatory. We can plactice Spanish with you if you are interested.

  Accommodation

  We provide a room with a single bed and cupboard, and semi-private bathroom, basic supplies such as bedding, towels, shampoo. Your bathroom is semi-private because sometimes we have visitors who use it and our 8 y.o. son uses it.
  Access to all the shared areas as the balcony, the kitchen, the living room.
  Our refrigerator and pantry are yours - use all simple foods we have to your liking. We cook and our nanny cleans the flat.
  If we go out and don't eat at home, you cook for yourself. We respect your diet, you will have a varied selection of basic foods in our place to cook your meals if it is something special.
  When we wash clothes we wash yours too - we have a washing machine at home. We use heating, water and electricity with care, we kindly ask you to help us to take care of the Planet and its irrecoverable natural resources this way.
  
  Please pay attention: we are not smokers and receive only people who dont smoke at home.
  
  It is important to mention that since we do not offer the employment contract, we do not pay contributions or health insurance, please have your health insurance updated. We suggest you to have the medicines/pills that you usually take, because in Chile they do not sell you some without a prescription.

  What else ...

  We are 10 min walking from the Playa Negra beach and if you would like to vary, you have three more beaches rather close to us as well.
  There are green areas 400 meters walking from home. Our area is rather secure and quiet.
  There are three supermarkets Santa Isabel, Tottus, Lider 15-20 min walking from home.
  There are local minimarket, greengrocery, grocery, bakery, butchery and cafe 3 min walking from home.
  There is a bus stop 3 min walking from home
  You are really close to the Concon Dunes, Concon Cliffs Reserve, as well there are bird and sea lions colonies in Reñaca you can visit.
  We rarely travel by car but if we go for a trip during your staying you are welcome to share our small escapings - if we can take you we invite you with us.
