Description
We're a French-American-German-Swiss multigenerational family. We moved here out of passion, between 15 and 25 years ago, because we believe this is a truly special place in the heart of Europe. Cruising through the pine forests or along the white sand beaches for hours—often without encountering another soul—is, in our opinion, something quite unique. There are countless surf spots, and because the sandbanks and tides are always shifting, it never gets boring. :)
We’re into all kinds of sports: some of us surf, others cycle, and some ride horses. Right now, six horses share their paddock with 5 chickens and several cats —all ages, all colors, all sizes, all shapes.

Help
We're looking for a reliable, experienced carpenter to help fix and improve various things around the houses, the barn, the stables, and the garden.
What You'll Do:
- Repair a wooden deck
- Build a small roof to protect a vintage caravan (which may also need minor repairs), as well as a shelter for horse food
- Extend the existing barn roof so it provides better protection.
- Help "Maestro" (our granddad) in the garden when needed - especially with more physical tasks
- There's always something to fix, so a hands-on, can-do attitude is definitely appreciated!
What We're Looking For:
Solid experience as a carpenter
Independent, trustworthy, and punctual
Practical Details:
Location: Seignosse (Landes, 40) – Southwest France, on the Atlantic coast
Availability: Starting early spring 2026
Duration: Minimum 1 month
Schedule: 5 days/week, ~10–20 hours/week
Pay: Minimum wage according to French law
A basic understanding of French will help you get by and is a great chance to improve your language skills.
To explore the beautiful area and be independent during your stay, you’ll need a driver’s license and your own car.
For everyone’s comfort, we ask that you be fully vaccinated and a non-smoker.
If you're passionate about spending time in nature, just a few minutes from the ocean, we’d love to hear from you!
