Description
Hello 👋🏼
I’m Phil, a retired engineer, and together with my partner I’ve been nurturing a 20-acre holistic organic farm in South India since 2018. Nestled in a unique micro-climate bordering forest land, the farm is evolving into a living space for regeneration, learning, and community.
Our land hosts over 1,600 fruit-bearing trees—coconut palms, mangoes, gooseberries, and more—alongside no-till farming practices, soil regeneration work, and extensive mulched raised beds. We’ve built hydroponic ponds with large water storage capacity to support drip irrigation across the farm and are continuously experimenting with diverse crops and vegetables.
The farm includes a well-equipped workshop with hand and power tools, woodworking equipment, and more—ideal for makers, builders, and tinkerers. A large farmhouse is currently under construction and will accommodate 20+ guests. We especially welcome helping hands with architectural input, terrazzo flooring, and natural building techniques.
Part of the land is dedicated to a holistic healing space, planted with forest trees and medicinal plants, with a vision to practice and explore Ayurveda, yoga, water therapy, and natural healing systems.
We currently live and work with a small in-house team, including two families who support farming, construction, and daily operations. Separate accommodation and shared kitchen facilities are in place.
We are now inviting volunteers, learners, practitioners, and collaborators—for short-term or long-term stays—who resonate with holistic farming, sustainability, natural building, wellness practices, or community development. In exchange, we offer a chance to live close to the land, learn hands-on, share knowledge, and help co-create a holistic farming community and R&D space for future models of living.
If this calls to you, we’d love to connect and explore how we can grow together 🌱

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The farm offers a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and skill-sharing, immersing volunteers in the rich heritage of Tamilian, Dravidian, and Vedic cultures. Participants will engage with traditional practices, including indigenous knowledge systems and artistic expressions unique to Tamil Nadu, while learning practical skills like basic woodworking and mechanical fabrication. This blend of cultural exploration and hands-on expertise creates a space where ancient traditions meet modern techniques, fostering meaningful connections and collaborative growth in a holistic, inclusive environment.

Help
We are seeking passionate and skilled volunteers to join an innovative project focused on sustainable agriculture and design. Ideal candidates will have expertise in regenerative farming, engineering and mechanical fabrication, hydroponic systems, or architectural design with a focus on Nubian and Catalan methods. Volunteers will collaborate closely with the local community, exchanging knowledge and skills to create eco-friendly agricultural systems, design essential tools and infrastructure, and implement efficient, water-saving growing techniques. Together, we aim to foster sustainable practices and meaningful connections.
