Dear Workawayers
Please note this information in advance regarding our location. We live in a car-free zone and our place only can be reached on foot or with various mountain railways or cablecabins.
You will find all information about the mountain where we live and for all the mountain railways and cablecabins on the hompage rigi.com.
There is the possibility to buy a "swiss travel pass" for the whole Switzerland or only for our region a“tellpass“.
With both providers, the tickets for Mount RIGI are included at no additional cost.

My Home is like an Island at good 1600 m above sea level in the Heart of Switzerland. This Natural force is called RIGI. Surrounded by countless mountains and wonderful nature, meadows, forests and lakes. Our old, small mountain chalet offers a lot of peace, protection and rustic cosiness and is located on a hiking trail often visited by day visitors and international tourists. My "family" includes a dog and two donkeys. Our life with this uniquely beautiful mountain is characterized by simplicity and nature awareness.

I am happy to share with you my conscious and simple mountain life.
We can work together outside in nature, by and with the animals in any weather.
Our daily routine is structured by three simple vegetarian meals.
In the evening we look back on the consciously experienced day in a cozy environment and make plans for the next day before the night's rest.
I hope you are aware of yours personal responsibility and you will treat people, animals and nature with joy and respect. For my part, I am looking forward to carrying out the daily tasks and work with you for the benefit of all involved in an uncomplicated way and with flair for craftsmanship. I'm learning most new things easily and let me be enthusiastic about your good and practical ideas. There is always potential for optimization in my work environment ;-) .
Help
I am looking for help and support in the care of the animals, in the maintenance and improvement the small stable, as well as in land and gardening in the field and around the house.
We are happy to do all the work together.
