Description
My husband Alok and I live with 2 dogs, a cat and 5 pet horses on a beautiful small acreage property. We are 10 minutes drive from Byron Bay, Mullumbimby and the beach. We have a lovely room with queen sized bed and ensuite bathroom available for helpers. We eat fresh and healthy here, no meat except free range chicken and fish plus tasty vegetarian. Smoking is ok outside, provided you are responsible with the butts.. We prefer people with fairly good english (good enough to have conversations) or german language skills and in a perfect world you would have your own transport so that you can explore this very beautiful part of the world outside work hours. We were both born in Europe and have lived in Australia for over 30 years. Alok is a building designer/architect and I am a healer/therapist. Most people find us interesting to hang out with. Alok is a wise man with a great sense of humour aged late 60's and I am in my late 50's, so yes we are old but young at heart. Some people left here feeling encouraged to 'go for their dreams' and many young people have left us with increased awareness and acceptance of who they are. My knowledge of the aussie flora and fauna is pretty good and I am deeply connected to this ancient land and its creatures, this seems to transmit to people who stay with us, provided there is an interest. You could also possibly fine tune your antenna for communication and connection with animals here.

Accommodation
You would stay in a generous sized bedroom with your own bathroom in our house. The bed is queen sized and comfy for two people.

This area has a lot to offer, Byron Bay is down the road, as is the beach, the markets, various walks and there is an endless list of activities on offer, especially for people with an interest in meditation, yoga, dance, alternative therapies, healthy living, creativity. There is no public transport here, so ideally you have your own car, if not you would need hitchhike and or get the odd lift with us to get out and about.
