  Ola, and boa tarde from the Azores.
  
  I'm Josef 60+, have been living in Portugal on the beautiful island of Sao Miguel (Azores) for over 20 years.
  I live here with people from different countries - we are all like family-friends everyone helps the other.
  We live here in the countryside, with a view of the Atlantic Ocean and the volcano Lago de Fogo in the background, on the north coast of the island of Sao Miguel. It is a beautiful place with a natural garden, a small greenhouse and some fruit trees and a large natural forest. The property is located outside, a very quiet and natural area, the nearest town about 5 km is Ribeira Grande and Rabo de Peixe.

  We’re based about 5 km outside Ribeira Grande—a charming town known as the surf capital of the island. Surf schools and ocean adventures are just a stone’s throw away. Despite our rural setting, we work from home and remain close by, ready to assist whenever needed.

  We’re looking for kind and reliable people who are in need of a break and enjoy getting involved in meaningful, hands-on work.
  Support is especially needed in and around the house and in the garden.. Ideally, you're skilled in a craft or just generally good with your hands. Even if you're a software developer with a passion for working with tools, you’re more than welcome!
  We're looking for open-minded, nature-loving people who enjoy working with plants, being outdoors, and taking good care of the space they live in. Most importantly, we need someone who can help us with smaller projects—sometimes working together, but the most of the time independently and self-organized.
  Help is needed in and around our private home and big garden. No work related to rentals or commercial activities is required.
  We value people who are able to work manually and independently. In return, we offer you accommodation and would love to cook or do things together when possible. While we don’t provide full meals, you're welcome to cook for yourself, and we’re happy to share anything from our garden or homemade products like bread and jam.
  This is a private, non-commercial space. We grow for our own use and eat what we harvest here.
  If you bring creativity and a good spirit, you'll fit in perfectly!

  You will live on our Quinta in one of our houses with a beautiful terrace and There is a nice room with a bed, war trop, table and chairs, Minikitchen
  You can prepare simple meals and stay in or outside. There is also a bathroom in your apartment .We offer also a laundry room for the clothes.

  A bus stop only 200 meters from the house
  The airport is 20 minutes away
  We also occasionally offer free spots on guided tours when we go out with tourists – you’re welcome to join if there’s space!
