Description
Are you a farmer, gardener, carpenter, landscaper, chef, herbalist, yoga enthusiast, graphic designer, web designer, content creator, DIYer, marketer, organizer, mechanic, animal lover, butcher, painter, or baker? Or maybe you are interested in exploring something new with a group of supportive people. We want people like you to join our sustainable farm community in northern Alberta. We will pay minimum wage ($15) for hours worked. Meals and extras will be your responsibility.
At our 4000-acre mixed farm, we raise pigs, chickens, turkeys, dogs, and cats, and we are always taking on new projects to share our culture. We welcome accountability, responsibility, enthusiasm, and teamwork from all our members. Whether you've been farming for years or want to try something new, we invite you to bring your skills and uniqueness to our family.
We have been hosting international guests for the past decade, and we want those who are willing to work hard and embrace a spirit of adventure. At the end of the day, there's nothing better than a tailgate meal, a campfire or a glimpse of the northern lights to remind us of the magic of being surrounded by nature.
If you're interested in joining our community, we have internet access and plenty of opportunities to make your mark. Come and enjoy a home-cooked meal with us as we work towards our goal of sustainability.

Hi there! I live in the country side and I have high upload and download capabilities. My hub is for multi-users. I have hosted one workawayer who had his own project. He worked on his own and I was also satisfied with his help. In fact, he saw an unique challenge that I was having and he created a digital solution. Because he created this just for my unique needs on the computer, we stay in touch. He gives me digital support and we keep up to date! Michelle
Space for parking camper vans
I have a lot of space. If they park in certain areas of the property, they can tap into our wi-fi. We have hosted a few campervan workawayers. It was a good situation. No complaints. Michelle
Can possibly accept pets
I have hosted workawayers that have brought their dog. It worked out just fine. Anyone willing to travel and care for a dog, good people. AND they WERE! Currently we have a dog with puppies and I feel it is best not to accept pets at this time. Michelle
