  All-Round Finca Support – Practical, Experienced & Grounded
  
  We are a small, family-run finca and retreat space in the peaceful Mallorcan countryside. Life here follows a simple and steady rhythm, shaped by the seasons, our guests, and the everyday running of the place. Alongside the work, we value a genuine cultural exchange based on mutual respect, professionalism and daily collaboration within an international team.
  
  We are now looking for one experienced, reliable and grounded person to support us in the daily practical running of the finca for the full season, from mid-April to mid-October.
  
  This is a full-time, paid Workaway position. It is not a learning, creative or facilitation role, but a hands-on support role for someone who already has solid experience and enjoys responsibility, routine and caring for spaces.
  
  Main tasks:
  Daily cleaning of guest rooms and common areas
  Laundry and general housekeeping
  Keeping the finca orderly, clean and welcoming
  Supporting the daily rhythm during both busy and quiet periods
  Light maintenance and practical help around the finca
  Assisting our cook with simple food preparation and basic kitchen tasks
  
  This role is ideal for someone who:
  Has many years of practical experience in housekeeping, cleaning, domestic work or similar roles
  Is used to working independently and naturally sees what needs to be done
  Enjoys routine, structure and physical work
  Is calm, mature and grounded
  Is in a settled phase of life and looking for stability rather than constant change
  Is available to stay for the full season, from mid-April to mid-October
  Values simplicity, responsibility and a respectful working environment
  
  Important to know:
  This is a physically active role with repetitive, everyday tasks
  Working hours are flexible and vary with the season
  Some days may include split shifts, others are quieter
  This is not a retreat facilitation, therapy, yoga or creative position
  
  Practical & legal details:
  This is a full-time, paid position
  EU citizenship is required or the ability to legally apply for a Spanish NIE number, which is necessary for an employment contract
  A driver’s license is highly recommended due to our countryside location
  A small private apartment on the finca is provided
  
  Cultural exchange:
  The cultural exchange in this position comes from working side by side in an international team, interacting with guests from different countries, and being part of the everyday life and rhythm of a small, family-run finca.   Help

  Your main tasks include:
  • Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and shared indoor spaces, working alongside our regular cleaner
  • Outdoor cleaning and upkeep, such as:
  o Sweeping pathways and terraces
  o Raking gravel areas
  o Keeping garden beds and outdoor areas tidy
  • Laundry and general household organisation
  • Late check-ins, welcoming guests arriving in the evening when needed
  • Serving and washing up during dinners or events when required
  • Assisting in the kitchen from time to time, with simple food preparation
  • Helping with practical, everyday tasks as they arise

  You will have a small little one-room apartment for your own private use.

  What else ...

  We have a bicycle for use. The nearest bus stop is about 2 km from the location. Here on Mallorca you can take the bicycle with you which is very useful when you reach your destination. You will also, under own responsability, be able to borrow a car now and then for shopping (however the car is not for personal use).
