  The project is the dream of a simple life, connected to nature. Return to the roots, cultivate and eat from the land, drink water from the river and work with meaning and respect. Respect for oneself, one's rhythm, one's deep needs and respect for nature, treating it with love in an exchange of positive energies.
  I'm Laurène, French by roots and Latin in my heart for 15 years. I fell in love with this land and since 2024 I fulfilled the dream and took the challenge of being the guardian of this place in the Sierra Nevada. We are located above Minca, in the heights at 1400 meters (near the "Escudo"). The land has 27 hectares and has 2 streams, several waterfalls and wells, paddocks and forest. There is an organic vegetable garden, coffee plantation, bananas and fruit trees. Animals are on site: mule, dog, cat and chickens.
  
  The project simply aims to live better and more meaningful. To this end, it is a matter of detaching oneself from dependence on the economic system by aiming at greater food, material and energy autonomy. And as we know, together we go further! So also the project aims to build a human community, where effort and values come together to achieve those goals.
  
  Being a new project, everything is yet to be done! Work in the organic garden, plant trees, repair the house and do eco-construction, clean the property, make paths to the waterfalls, decorate, and whatever the place can inspire 😊
  We are asking for dynamic people to join us in the desire to work the land, whether to build a house or to make a garden. 3 hours of participation (5 days a week) is required and food is not included. We are in a time of many activities, so we need active people who want to contribute physical effort to the project.

  El proyecto es el sueño de una vida sencilla, conectada con la naturaleza. Volver a las raíces, cultivar y comer de la tierra, tomar agua del rio y trabajar con sentido y respeto. Respeto a si mismo, a su ritmo, sus necesidades profundas y respecto a la naturaleza, tratándola con amor en un intercambio de energías positivas.
  Soy Laurène, francesa de raíces y latina de corazón desde hace 15 años. Caí enamorada de esta tierra y desde el 2024 cumplí con el sueño y tomé el desafío de ser la guardiana de este lugar en la Sierra Nevada. Nos encontramos más arriba de Minca, en las alturas a 1400 metros (cerca del "Escudo"). El terreno cuenta con 27 hectáreas y tiene 2 arroyos, varias cascadas y pozos, potreros y bosque. Hay una huerta orgánica, plantación de café, bananas y arboles frutales. Animales están en el lugar:
  mula, perro, gato y gallinas.
  
  El proyecto apunta simplemente a vivir mejor y con mas sentido. Para esto, se trata de desapegarse un poco de la dependencia al sistema económico apuntando a una mayor autonomía alimenticia, material y energética. Y como lo sabemos, juntos unos van mas lejos! Así que también el proyecto apunta a construir una comunidad humana, donde el esfuerzo y los valores se unan para lograr esas metas.
  
  Siendo un proyecto nuevito, todo está por hacer y hay mucho trabajo! Trabajar en la huerta orgánica, plantar árboles, reparar la casa y hacer bioconstrucción, limpiar el predio, hacer caminos hacia las cascadas, decorar, y lo que les pueda inspirar el lugar 😊
  Pedimos gente dinámica que se una a las ganas de trabajar la tierra, sea para construir la casa o hacer huerta.
  Se ofrece 3 horas de trabajo por día, la comida no está incluida. Estamos en un momento de muchas actividades, así que necesitamos personas activas que quieran aportar esfuerzo físico para el proyecto.

  I invite you to the journey of inner questioning, where we seek meaning in our actions, our lives and most of all inner peace and alignment with our values and dreams.
  I also invite you to come and meet the Colombians here, native peasants of the Sierra Nevada, with all their knowledge about local life and nature. On and around the farm, you can learn more about the production of coffee, sugar cane (and the famous panela!), and tropical fruits.
  They also offer mule rides in the Sierra Nevada, visits to indigenous communities. Not far away you can visit Minca, this tourist town where there is a lot to do (waterfalls, hiking, visits to farms, viewpoint, ...).
  Finally, inside the Finca, you will find waterfalls and wells where you can bathe, walks / hiking, a sacred place of indigenous people where you can practice your meditation, yoga or sport and a beautiful view with a cool breeze.

  Les invito al viaje del cuestionamiento interno, donde buscamos sentido a nuestras acciones, a nuestras vidas y mas que nada paz interior y alineamiento con nuestros valores y sueños.
  Les invito también a venir conocer los colombianos de aquí, campesinos nativos de la Sierra Nevada, con todos sus conocimientos sobre la vida local y la naturaleza. En la Finca y a su rededor, podrás conocer más sobre la producción de café, de caña de azúcar (y la famosa panela!), de frutas tropicales. También ofrecen paseos con mulas en la Sierra Nevada, visitas a las comunidades indígenas. No muy lejos podrás conocer Minca, este pueblito turístico donde hay mucho para hacer (cascadas, senderismo, visitas de Fincas, mirador, …).
  En fin, dentro de la Finca, encontrarás cascadas y pozos donde bañarte, caminatas / senderismo, un lugar sagrado de indígenas donde practicar tu meditación, yoga o deporte y una hermosa vista con una brisa fresca.

  There are several types of aid you can provide:
  - Help in the garden: planting, cleaning, harvesting, preparing the soil, covering the soil, making installations for new crops, contributing your knowledge in permaculture...
  - Help in eco-construction: help with the remodeling of the old house by renovating the earth walls with mud. Work with bamboo, contribute your knowledge in carpentry to remake windows, doors, posts and roof.
  - Decorate, provide your art to make small natural decorations for the house, paintings, murals, posters for the trails, or whatever inspires you!
  - Help on the maintenance of the place: cleaning the property, mowing grass, maintaining the road for vehicles, making paths for trails, cutting wood, help with the kitchen and the house...

  Hay varios tipos de ayudas que puedes aportar:
  - Trabajar en la huerta: sembrar, limpiar, cosechar, preparar el suelo, cubrir el suelo, hacer instalaciones para nuevos cultivos, aportar tus conocimientos en permacultura…
  - Trabajar en eco construcción: ayudar con la remodelación de la casa antigua renovando las paredes de tierra con barro. Trabajar con guadua, aportar tus conocimientos en carpintería para volver a hacer ventanas, puertas, postes y techo.
  - Decorar, brindar tu arte para hacer pequeñas decoraciones naturales para la casa, pinturas, murales, carteles para los senderos, o lo que te inspire!
  - Trabajar en el mantenimiento del lugar: limpiar el predio, cortar pasto, mantenimiento del camino para los vehículos, hacer caminos para senderos, cortar madera, ayuda con la cocina y la casa…

  Accommodation

  English:
  Accommodation is in dormitories, in single beds. The bathroom is shared and the bravest can wash in the stream! If you are a couple, thank you for mentioning it to me and maybe I can free up a double room depending on availability. If you prefer to sleep in a tent or hammock, it is also possible inside the premises or in an open cabin. Animals are welcome if they are friendly to all other types of animals (dogs, cats, chickens, horses). The kitchen is collective. We will decide the working hours together according to the needs.

  El alojamiento es en dormitorios, en camas individuales. El baño es compartido y los mas valientes pueden lavarse en el arroyo! Si son pareja, gracias por mencionármelo y tal vez pueda liberar una habitación doble según la disponibilidad. Si prefieren dormir en carpa o hamaca, también es posible dentro del predio o en una cabaña abierta. Animales son bienvenidos si son amigables con todos otros tipos de animales (perros, gatos, gallinas, caballos). La cocina es colectiva. El horario de trabajo lo decidiremos juntos según las necesidades.

  English:
  To get here, you can take a bus from the public market of Santa Marta or from Minca. Anyway, you have the possibility of arriving by motorbike from Minca, it is a beautiful ride, but it will be more expensive. From the bus stop, there is an additional 20-minute motorbike ride to the Finca, or 45 minutes on foot. Three time a week, vehicles travel direct from Santa Marta to the Finca for a comfortable price.
  
  Stays of more than 7 days are preferred, as the place is a bit fare away and certain projects need continuity.
  
  Please note that our place is drug free.

  Para llegar aquí, puedes tomar una buseta desde el mercado público de Santa Marta o desde Minca. En fin, tienes la posibilidad de llegar en moto desde Minca, es un paseo hermoso, pero saldrá más caro. Desde la parada de la buseta, hay un trozo adicional de 20 minutos en moto para llegar a la Finca, o 45 minutos caminando. Tres veces a la semana, vehículos viajan directo de Santa Marta a la Finca por un precio cómodo.
  
  Son preferibles las estadías por más de 7 días, ya que el lugar está un poco retirado y que ciertos proyectos necesitan una continuidad.
