I am motivated to travel by the connections that I am able to make all over the planet. I believe it’s true when they say people are the paradise you meet. The diversities of culture and humans that I am able to experience feels like the world's greatest gift.
I truly value hard work, giving service and the challenge of all sorts of jobs.
I'm very interested in practicing various farming techniques as I grew up on a farm and want to continue having one of my own one day. This is my biggest purpose of travel. Harvesting as many techniques around the world as I can then planting them at my own someday. Hopefully with the help of future workawayers so I can spread the knowledge and continue the powerful chain of exchange. I really enjoy eco-building and design, adobe, bamboo, gaining more knowledge of medicinal plants and herbs, landscaping, textiles and weaving, painting murals, creating sculptures, teaching and learning from kids, working with animals, the wonderful world of sailing! Etc.
I'm very open to life and different ideas. I believe I'm very friendly, respectful, tidy and really easy going. I enjoy learning as much as I can in this lifetime and keeping busy through all sorts of projects, working outdoors, painting, carpentry, crochet, playing music... Just... creation.
Exploring around and being fully in nature on my off time is high on the list for me. Trying to grasp as much as this beautiful planet as i can in my short time here on earth. I love the ocean, diving, hiking, yoga, sailing, (trying to) surf, reading, playing music, finding like minded people... I value open honest, communication. I do really enjoy company of other people (most of them.....) but I really need to balance this with some solitude. I deeply value the quiet :)

The last 7 years I've been traveling basically nonstop through New Zealand, The Cook Islands and the Hawaiian Islands, Puerto Rico, Greece, Turkey, Ireland, Virgin Islands, Colombia, Peru, Taiwan, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia and now Thailand. I prefer to slowly soak up as much of a country and its people as a few months visa will let me.
I've done work exchanges of all sorts but I really enjoy gardening, farmwork, animal care, adobe building and recycled designs, refitting the interior and exterior of sail boats/first mate and stew, fruit/vegetable harvesting, landscaping, house/pet sitting, painting and mural designs. I've been a nanny, au pair and babysitter on and off since I was a teenager. I want to practice more of the discipline of taking on bigger artistic projects, especially when it comes to sculpturr and painting! I would be happy to take on mural projects. I love to sail and I feel confident that I have the basics down pat but I know that I have much much more to learn. I play a bit of guitar and could try my best to teach someone how if they'd like to learn.
I love weaving baksets, crocheting clothes, harvesting clay and making pottery. I grew up loving to restore houses and antique cars with my dad so I'm always looking forward to running into other restoration projects. Bringing light back to the dark!! I'm quite flexible when it comes to the work as I just enjoy giving an extra set of helping hands in exchange to explore and learn anything new.
