Description
The place was built during the 80s. The communist regime designed the structure to make it available to the
French engineers, who worked for the construction of the Central Hidroelectrica. With the fall of the regime
the land was returned to the owners.
With lots of passion and hard work the Building and the sorrounding area have been rebuilt and turned into a
small Hotel.
From April to October the Hotel is open for Tourists which travel and discover the area around lake Koman.
The Hotel has 15 Rooms, offers a Breakfast Buffet and a set Dinner Menu. Guests can enjoy the refreshing cold
Water of the lake or take one of our Kayaks to explore the untouched nature with it.
The Small village of Komani can be reached by food in just 15 Minutes. There you will find some local
Restaurants and small Shops. The Ferry station to Lake XXX ist 10 Minutes Car drive (or 40 Minutes Food Walk)

People who are interested can learn from the Albanian culture and especially know the tradition of the mountains, learn about other cultures through the tourists who pass in the area, or how to cultivate the land, how to take care of the vineyard, see the production of wine in an artisanal way. Furthermore Koman has two very important archaeological sites.Help
General hotel tasks, room cleaning, gardening, tending the land and planting products of the earth. If you are not familiar, don't worry, our staff will take care of showing you. Our staff is made up of a chef, one who takes care of cleaning, a handyman, the owner, and one who works the land.

Your dorm room is a mixed space that you will be sharing with the other staff members /work awayers (max. 5
people total). In your free time you can enjoy the public guest area, e.g. the view from our beautiful breakfast
balcony or read a book in the hammock under a shady tree. You can sunbathe on our beach and cool off by
jumping in the refreshing cold water.
We breakfast (9.30 - 10.00) plus one meal. All drinks
are paid for by the purchase price. You can also use the kayaks at special rates.What else ...
You can go canoeing, lake, bicycle and motorbike. The attractions of the area are Lumi i Shales, Valbone, Theth the archaeological site in one of the mountains in front of the Hotel of 600 meters above sea level. "Siti arkeologik i Komanit". The Transportation are the vans in the area. you can reach the sea a few kilometers from Koman
How to get here: There is a Bus from Shkoder to Komani that departs at 6.30 AM. You’ll arrive in Komani
around 9.00 AM. We also do shopping in Shkoder twice a week (usually on wednesday and Saturday) if we can
manage, we are happy to pick you up and take you to Komani, just let us know.A little more information

We arrived and our accommodation was very nice with our own room and next to Koman lake which is gorgeous, although the water is freezing, but with the heat it is great to cool off!
