Description
Dear workawayers, we life in a small community in the forest in Zutendaal. We try to live with the simple things nature and surroundings give us. Ecological , sustainable self supporting live, permaculture, community life, forest baths,playing games are key words in our houses....
Rika an johan (thats me) and our son Towa are a the moment living in a chalet in the woods and we are looking for helpers around
We have a lovely dog , some chickens , a cat and the wild live also sometimes like to eat from our garden...
Other people live also in the neighborhood and we tent to come together and work together and enjoy the live.
For the moment we are setting up a commune biological garden near a social center and we starting up also a authentic old school bakery.
For the more independent workawayers we also have an of grid place more deeper in the forest. We are always looking for people to help there to build it up and create a more wonderfull place
For the rest the live is very nice here... your welkom

Accommodation
You will stay in a Caravan or tent. You can bring you own tent or we also have tents , we have a quite big garden so you can make your own space , or create a forest dome ...., we don't have internet acces @ our location and phone reach is limited , but if you walk up the hill you have have good connection....
You can join us with the food we eat, we eat rather simpel en healthy food. (mostly we eat vegetarian) In the early evening Rika or i will provide dinner or you are welcome to cook ....

We live close to maasticht and genk ( 30 minutes bike) nice town..... trein are also in genk everywhere to belgium.

I stayed for a week, but I had a lot of good time with them.
I did, cutting trees, making miso, weeding,painting.
They are so welcoming and kind.
They gave me so a lot of things.
I will never forget their kindness.

We released a small plot of vegetable garden invaded by nettle while enjoying nature. We pitched our tent further into the garden, almost in the forest, really a great adventure. I wish we could have stayed longer.
