Description
We are seeking a teacher (or aspiring teacher) who would like to volunteer their time to help our daughter, Maya (age 15), structure and navigate homeschooling. Ideally this person can also help her expand her Italian language skills. (Italian candidates are very welcome!) This person should initiate projects with Maya such as gardening, building, fixing things, cooking meals, doing short outings. Maya speaks English and Dutch and already a bit of Italian. She is very skilled in arts and crafts. She has a golden retriever puppy, a shitsu and four chickens. She loves all animals. She loves building things. (She recently built a big chicken coop with a frend.) She has a diagnosis of autism. She is bright but learns in her own way. The village of Solonghello is tiny and very sleepy but not far from charming towns, great cities and the Alps. The house is large, very old and gorgeous. The surrounding community is warm and friendly. A driving license is a big plus. Italian language skill is a big plus. Maya has a big sister (22) who comes and goes from London. We parents work in the film industry.

Accommodation
Our home in Solonghello is very large, very old and very beautiful . It once housed the wine presses of the village of Solonghello. It's perched on a hill but situated just on the edge of the tiny village. The village has a humble shop, a church, a restaurant for locals. The towns nearby are Casale Monferrato, Asti and Alessandria. An hour from the house is the great city of Torino.
The room provided has airco, pretty views and a private toilet.
The kitchen is always open and available for use.
What else ...
It's an ideal environment for walking and cycling.
Public transport is sparse and not ideal. A car is recommended.
The nearest train station is Trino Vercellese.
We own two dogs (one Golden puppy, one shitsu) and four chickens.
We travel often but someone is always home.
