    Description

I’m a Fine Arts graduate starting a project in Seferihisar, İzmir. If you don't know the history, this area was home to the world’s first artists' union 2,000 years ago. My goal is to bring that energy back to life through a Creative Hub, an Artist Residency, and a space for Digital Nomads.

We aren't a big commercial center; we are a growing community. We are currently fixing up the space and building the foundation for what will be a 'modern guild.' If you're into history, art, or just building something from the ground up, this is a unique spot to be.

I'm looking for proactive people who don't mind getting their hands dirty. Since we are in the early stages of the hub, the help changes every week. One day we might be painting a mural or gardening, and the next we might be fixing furniture or organizing a workshop space.

I especially appreciate 'overqualified' guests—if you have a professional trade, artistic skill, or specialized knowledge, I’d love to find a way for you to use those skills here rather than just doing basic chores.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

You will be part of a burgeoning creative community. You’ll have the chance to practice Turkish with locals, learn the history of Smyrna/İzmir, and contribute to a project that aims to revitalize the local cultural scene. In return, we love hearing about your travels, your local traditions, and the creative 'guilds' you belong to in your own country.
Expect plenty of deep conversations, a bit of theatrical flair, and perhaps a glass of local wine as we watch the sunset—just as the members of the Teos union did two millennia ago

We offer two independent, fully furnished guest houses on our property. Each house features its own private bathroom and comfortable living space, designed to be a peaceful retreat after a day of creativity. Each house is ideal for two people (perfect for friends traveling together or a couple), providing a blend of privacy and community living within the hub

Our focus on garden-grown and market-fresh produce makes it an ideal environment for vegetarians, vegans, and those who appreciate a clean, Mediterranean diet.

Coming from Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB), the journey is very straightforward:

The Train: From the Airport terminal, take the İZBAN (suburban train) just one stop to Cumaovası Station.

The Bus: At Cumaovası, transfer to the ESHOT Bus 829.

The Arrival: You don't need to go all the way to the Seferihisar terminal. The 829 bus passes directly through our Hub! Just let us know when you’re on the bus, and we’ll tell you exactly where to hop off—right at our front door.

We are flexible! We typically ask for 4-5 hours of help a day, 5 days a week. We can coordinate your "help hours" around your professional meetings or time zones. If you prefer to work on your laptop in the morning and help us with the hub in the afternoon (or vice versa), we can make that happen.
