    Description

Spring 2025 is here 🌿 — we're open to both spontaneous and planned stays! Feel free to reach out via text, as we’re not always active on this platform.

We’re a working couple who recently settled on a peaceful 10-acre property in South Gippsland. It’s dairy country out here — green, rolling, and full of charm. Our initial focus is on establishing an organic vegetable garden alongside nurturing the beautiful, mature gardens already here.

Our fur family includes two alpacas with big personalities, six sheep, and one sweet little cow who’s blind in one eye. She’s slowly warming up to humans and growing more curious by the day.

We’ve got plenty of exciting projects on the go and we’re taking each step with joy and purpose. If you love gardening, small creative tasks, or simply being outdoors, we’d love to hear from you.

We enjoy cooking meals from a variety of cuisines and spending time outside soaking up the fresh air. You’ll stay in a peaceful, self-contained studio on our property — just 14 minutes from Inverloch beach. It’s a cozy retreat with quality linen and a king-size bed, perfect for relaxing after a day in the garden.

Ideally, you’re happy to take your days off (or at least one of them) during the week, as weekends are our busiest time for gardening and cooking. In winter, we work around the weather to make the most of sunny, dry days.

Whether you're handy and keen to tackle small projects, or a beginner looking to contribute through achievable gardening tasks, there’s something here for you. We value a sense of accomplishment and love sharing that with our guests.

Above all, we want you to feel welcome and at ease. If you’re thoughtful, respectful, and enjoy a calm, collaborative environment — you’re definitely our kind of person.

You'll enjoy a beautiful space to retreat each day or spend your spare time in one of the many gardens and areas in the property. We love hosting and cooking. Our passion for organic gardening and working in with nature is a very important philosophy for us.

*Update* With Spring upon us we are seed germinating, setting up irrigation in a small orchard (20 trees) and creating new garden beds, revitalising older beds, weeding, mulching, mowing, and have a range of great tasks for those with a handyman skillset if that's your thing!

We don't think weeding all day is necessarily fun for anyone, so we'll have a variety of tasks to suit all walks of life and skill levels.
