Hi My name is Eric I am 38 years old. I started building my house all out of bambu I have been working on my house for 6 years and a half. The purpose of this project is to inspire the youth to start using a sustainable material to make furniture, houses, and handcraft. we don´t talk about ecology and sustainability we are these two concepts. We invite you to come to live an experience in my Bambu house which is still under construction.

We just got a trailer full of fresh cut bamboo. The next step will be turning this in actual building material, what includes crushing holes for the drying process all the way through and impregnating it with some chemicals to make it stronger against time and weather.
The main structure and roof are already there and usually we would just have to fit in the walls, but because mistakes were done, there are some changes in either roof and structure to do.

In Muyil, just 300metersaway from the bamboo building, are one of the most beautiful Mayan ruins, unknown from the main tourists but defintetly worth to visit also beautiful lake in front of the Mayan temples
